I loved the look of the dress and the style but was very disappointed when I tried to put it on. No zipper. Waist of the dress does not stretch for you to put over your head and shoulders.

I could barely get this over my head. I'm a size 6 Petite and have never had a problem with any
sizing. There were 2 more dresses in that order and they fit fine. I sew, so I undid seams and modified the fit, but this was extra work. Looks good on, after the alterations.

I ordered a small because they were all out of mediums. The dress did fit but it was very difficult to get on. There is no zipper or opening and you have to slip it on over your head or pull it up over your bottom. The waist is not elastic so there is no give. I think a medium might have been better.

I bought this dress because I loved the style and color and was hoping the fit would have been better than what the reviews had to say. Well, the color is great and style, but the fit is defiantly on the small side. I wear an 8 or 10, ordered a medium and it did fit but... too tight.
I did not have a problem getting it on, I actually stepped into it and pulled it over my hips. But that isn't my problem area, my tummy is. That's why I liked the design, it seemed to have a layered waist look. It did but still to snug for me. I was hoping for a more relaxed style dress.

This dress would be perfect if you could get it on and off!! The waist has very little give, I struggled to get it on, loved the way it looked and fit, but thought I would have to have it cut off! It's too bad because the size was perfect in every other way.

So, I have ordered from Chadwick's before and have been satisfied with my previous purchases. I was completely shocked when I tried on this dress. I am a small framed woman who wears a small (my measurements were in line with your sizing chart) and when I went to try the dress on and could barely get my arms and shoulders through I knew I was in trouble. Once the dress was on it fit fine, however, I wasn't going to wrestle with the dress everytime I wanted to wear it. Getting it off was a whole new ordeal. I couldn't get it off. I had to have my husband come and pull it off me and even he had trouble. I couldn't return the dress fast enough. [...]

I went by the measurements given and ordered the dress. I got it and when I tried it on ... it was too tight! Very upset - and there are no more in stock. I had to return the dress. Disappointed!

This is a beautiful dress...the style and design is fantastic. However....you might want to size up on this. This is a pull-over style dress with no zippers, buttons, etc. But because the waist is designed to be tight fitting, it's very hard to pull it over your head and chest area. My advice is to size up one size.

Would not pull over my head. I kept looking everywhere for a zipper because it was impossible to put on. It had a special occasion tag even though I would not consider this a special occasion dress. I usually have no problem with any of Chadwick's items, but I wasn't even able to put this dress on. I would love to see the fit model for this dress. I was dissapointed and sent it back.

This is a beautiful dress. The fabric and design are gorgeous. The only problem I found is this is a pull-over-your-head style. I looked and looked for a zipper or something at the waist to open it up and there is none. I bought this in a small (I usually wear a 6 or 8). I had a little trouble getting the waistband over my chest. I'm very small-chested, so imagine that this would be nearly impossible to pull over if you are a B cup or over and would definitely recommend going up a size.

Once I got it on, however, it looks fantastic and drapes beautifully. The skirt is knee-length on me and will be great when the weather warms up!
