The dress is beautiful! The fit is great and is the perfect dress for summer weddings, cocktail parties, special dates. There were a few problems: 1) The underslip is too tapered for comfort; it would be better if it were flared as the dress is. 2) Neither the slip nor the dress were well-pressed. 3) The dress itself was puckery on the side seams making it less than flattering on the hips. I would love to add this dress to my wardrobe, but only with alterations.

The lining and the dress don't seem to be made for one another. The lining isn't cut from one piece but rather patched together on one side. The material is heavy and doesn't breathe, making it very uncomfortable if the temperature gets above 60. The only way I could wear this dress would be to take it to a dressmaker and have a new lining put in. That wouldn't be very economical, which was the main reason for buying the dress in the first place. If I had tried this on in a store I wouldn't have bought it.
