Great staple for work with black tights, a complete outfit. The short sleeves with buttons are quite snug on me, and I ordered a size 16 so I expected more room. It's not the best quality material, but a good value for the money.

The dress color was beautiful, but the sleeves were really tight. Also the bottom half of the dress didn't have any type of lining like the top half did, and in the description of the dress it stated it was fully lined, which it obviously wasn't. You’ll need to wear really dark tights underneath this dress or a slip if you don’t have sexy skinny legs.

fit was a tad snug, but I love the style and am working on losing a few pounds, so it's a keeper. I love the length. I think mid-calf dresses are very unflattering and it isn't easy to find clothes that end at the knee or a little below.

I love the IDEA of this dress. It can be used for almost any occasion. Dress it up or dress it down. It is a classic piece and works in several seasons. However, the sleeves are extremely tight! By the way, I do not have huge arms or anything. I have an average, size 8 build. I will have to take the dress to a tailor and see if they can do anything to make it more comfortable on my arms. This takes away from the convenience of ordering online.

I had to return this dress because of the fit. The cap sleeves have no give in them, so anyone with larger biceps or triceps would be unable to wear it. They cut off my blood circulation before I even buttoned them closed. The pleats in the fabric also hide any chest a girl might have, so it would be most flattering for someone who has above average breasts.
However, the material and flow of the dress would have been quite comfortable if the arms had not been so tight. I had hoped to wear it to a couple of weddings, and I think it would have been perfect for fall weddings that are not black tie.

I saw this dress in "Lucky" magazine, and thought it looked cute and comfortable. Plus, the price was right. I dithered a bit over sizing (I tend to be a 6, but sometimes I'm an 8), but ordered an 8 based on the size guidelines on the site. I do feel that the dress is a bit too bit, but I got a ton of compliments when I wore it. Looks cute with black leggings and flat boots, or footless tights and flats.

I like this and have received lots of compliments, however I feel like a sausage in it, especially the arms. I have this 2 sizes larger than what I wear. It's not overly flattering in its cut/fit, but it's a cute dress in great colors. I wear a jacket over it so you cannot tell how tight the top is.

*GREEN color is a 'good' green - can be worn all year 'round.
*Good length - very flattering.
*The skirt part of the dress is NOT lined. So you will need to wear a slip for sure.
*I have VERY small arms and the sleeves are SO small and tight that I could barely get it on. I can't really move freely in this dress.
Overall, great concept and great design. It's a very nice dress all together - but the fit is just a little off.

I actually saw this dress in a fashion magazine and just had to see how it looked on me...its wonderful. You can just throw it on with tights or not, put on some fabulous shoes (I like a bootie or strappy sandals) and its an instant classy look. Put a fun scarf or some interesting jewerly for a more fashion foward look.

I love this dress. The lines are classic and it is VERY flattering. I followed the sizing chart; according to my measurements I needed a size 20. But when I received it, it was giant! Your hip measurements don't really matter with this dress, but the description doesn't tell you that. It is a full skirt; it is not fitted through the hips at all. I had to send it back, and I'm going to order it in my normal dress size this time. I can't wait until I receive the new one. I am not a woman who enjoys dressing up, but I am looking forward to wearing this dress.

I expected this dress to be a darker, richer color of purple. Instead it was almost fuscia. The sleeves were way too tight and I don't have exceptionally large upper arms. I also thought the waist was too short. It was as though I had on a petite dress.
I thought the color was going to be a much deeper purple and it was not. The sleeves were extremely tight and I don't have exceptionally large upper arms. I consider myself to be "short-waisted" and this dress still "rode up". It almost felt like a petite size dress on me. Everything was just too short.

I was a little disappointed in this dress. In the picture, the waist hangs loosely, giving it a very vintage look. However, when it arrived, it seemed very small, and the gathered waist really cut into me. I'm also not very large busted at all, but it was very snug across the bust. I sent it back to order a bigger size, so we'll see how that works.
