When I tried on this dress the first thing that drew my attention was how high the predetermined waistline was. I placed the belt on my natural waist, but the predetermined waistline was obvious and fashionably unappealing to the eye. Also, the dress seemed to be of a sateen-like material having a very shiny appearance; it was not a breathable material for the skin, and made me perspire in the short time I tried it on. It's a cute fashion, but it did not fall well on my pear-shaped physique.

This is a great little summer dress. It also is a great travel outfit as it packs easily. I plan on buying another in a different color.
