I 1st purchased the chocolate. After wearing it, I had to order a 2nd one(blue indigo). Oh my, I loooove the fit and quality of the material. I felt really sexy and classic. The dress really defines the shape of a woman. The material made the fit really smooth and no foundation was needed.

The cut of this dress was meant for a Straight figure, no curves. If you hold it up it is straight. It is also a size too small. All my dresses are the same size average-14, but since someone mentioned it was cut small I bought a size larger. It fits tight, tiny buttons, wrinkles, not flattering to a curved figure.

This dress was a horrible fit for me. It fit one size too small -- everything I have in my closet is the same size, but this one definitely was not the size it says it was. I would recommend getting it at least one size bigger unless you like your clothes super tight. Other than that the dress was OK. It was not as nice in person as on the site.

The dress has a bit of stretch to it making it really comfortable. I threw out the ugly belt and replaced it with a wide red one and wear earrings to match. Im glad I bought this dress.

I wear the shirtdress with denim, anything else looks silly. I'm a size 6 and feel that this dress makes me look wider and fuller than I really am. I would recommend only buying this if you are slender waisted and have normal sized hips. Also because the material is cotton I don't think it works as a transitional piece from workday to evening as it says on the website. It's strictly trendy casual.

This is my second dress of this style, only I got it in red. And the dress is as nice as the chocolate color. I can use this dress as a coat over denims, with a flip-flops and tank undeneath, just a timeless dress that will wear well in California.

Not ideal for pear shapes.I ordered a size 14 instead of a 12 to accomodate my hips and butt, which fit beautifully, but left the portion above the waist way too big and baggy. My chest was completely swallowed.
The buttons were entirely too small and took me 5 minutes just to button it up. The mandarin collar wouldn't stay up straight.
This is a good dress basic dress to build on for different accessories.

I am a little disappointed in the cut of the dress. It tends toward shapeless and boring, although I think adding accessories and a different belt instead of the self-belt will improve the overall look. Good basic. Good hem detail.
