This dress is so oddly shaped! I saw all of the reviews that mentioned the smallness of the bust but thought this wasn't a problem for me as I do not have a large chest. The one I bought was perfect on the bust but seemed to poof out a lot around the hips. The lining and pockets just made it worse. I love empire waist dresses and own a ton-I know all of the possible pit falls but this one was the worst! If you have hips at all or are above a size 6 ish, this dress is probably not for you. I notice now how the model is kind of camoflaguing the hip area with her arms. There is a reason for this!!!

Great dress! It fit perfectly and is so comfortable and breezy. Great for the weekends for running around town for errands. You can dress it up with jewelry and nicer sandals or dress down with flip flops. I got a ton of compliments on it - the green shade is gorgeous. I also got the brown and it is a rich chocolate. I am 5'6, about 160 lbs with a 36D chest. It was a little snug in the size 8 that I ordered. If you have a large chest, it would be my advice to go up one size from your standard size.

Was looking forward to this dress as the model made it look so lovely and maxi dresses are all the rage.
Everything fit fine, but the design of the bust left much to be desired. The bottom of the bust, which should hit right where a bra band would, was too high and basically flattened me out. I'm only a B cup so its nice when things actually accentuate my bust instead of decrease it. As the straps are not adjustable, its conceivable that the placement of bust section was off due to me having a longer than average shoulder to under-bust ratio, but this has not ever been a problem with other clothing. A hint of stretch in the fabric would have likely resolved the problem, but as it was pure cotton (and a nice feeling cotton too I might add), there wasn't any margin for error.
I expected the bust to be too large as that is the problem I usually run into, but instead it simply hit me at the wrong spot and was very unflattering. I had to return it :(

This is the oddest fitting dress I have ever slipped into. I am by no means large chested (BCup) and the bodice was so unbelievably tight. I normally wear a 4 and I couldn't even zip the zipper half way up the bodice. Then the dress part is HUGE. It billows out like a pirate sail.
I am happily returning it in exchange for something else!

The design and colors of this dress are lovely. I found the bust area to be much too large, but popped the seam across the back and added some elastic which made it fit lovely.
