I have the blue and the clementine. The blue is just as depicted. The clementine color is a bit more orange than depicted in the picture. I love this dress. The colors are fun and great for summer. The design flatters my figure. I do think that the bust would be too small for someone with a bigger bust. I think the cotton drapes well. It's NOT flimsy or thin material, it's durable. The one downside for me is that the hem needs to be ironed or else it rolls up. Other than that, I love this dress, and I'm tempted to buy the green and red, but that might be overkill.

Dress was cute and simple but the seams that cross in front fell right across my bust, not below as shown on model. I'm a curvy size 12, and this dress looked pretty boring on me. I was dissapointed becaue I really wanted a 100% cotton dress that swished and draped nicely....not this dress. ended up returning it.

I think this dress is great! I only wear dresses and skirts and this one is great for everyday, but can be dressed up for going out to dinner. Very smooth fabric - lightweight, but not see-through. This dress is really cute and flattering. It's not so loose as to be unconstructed, but it's definitely not tight. I think it would flatter a lot of figures. The fabric is a little thin, which is nice for summer, but I bought it in the blue color thinking I wouldn't have to wear a slip, but it didn't pass the "light test!" I haven't washed it yet, so I'm hoping it will hold up. Can be dressed up or down, so it's versatile.

This was a very flattering style for me, so when the dress appeared in the Chadwick's catalog last summer, I ended up ordering 6 different colors. I was disappointed not to see it again this year at first--and when it finally did appear I bought 4 more. It is NOT, however, the same dress. The cut is exactly the same, but last year's dress was made from a poly-blend fabric that drapes well, washes well, and most importantly packs well.
This year's dress is 100% cotton, and while that may be better for the environment, and in many ways more comfortable because it breathes more easily, it does NOT hold its shape the way last year's dress did, and it wrinkles VERY easily. Even after putting the dress in the dryer, you will need to iron it.
Therefore, the dress might be worth the sale price, but it is not worth the full price.
Chadwick's, can there be a happy medium with the fabric? Perhaps 90% cotton with a touch of stretch to avoid wrinkles and help keep the shape?

The material looks like it flows and drapes so much better in the picture on the Chadwick's website. The dress is not very figure flattering and the material looks cheap and feels stiff.
