A shirtdress in a natural fabric, that is below the knee and in wearable colors (not hot pink) is almost impossible to find. So I bought 3 in navy, azure and desert. The Chadwick's Madras Plaid Blazer in azure-multi exactly matches the azure and desert colored jackie dresses giving them a more professional feel for the office. I hope Chadwicks comes out with similar cotton shirtdresses with sleeves and POCKETS for the Fall. A note on sizing. I'm 5'3" with a high waist so I originally ordered the Petite, but the waistline seam fit me like an empire waist. So I would suggest only going for the Petite if you are 5 feet tall or under. Also I bought both the size 10 and 12 and the fit was almost identical except that the size 12 had a bit more room through the bustline.

The one problem I have with the dress is that the waist is a bit short. I am average but almost petite with respect to a short torso and I will need to wear a wide belt with this dress. Otherwise, it was as I hoped it would be.

I have been looking for a dress like this one for awhile. The long length and drop waist makes it a very flattering/feminine/casual style. The fabric is of good quality also. This is a lot of dress for the money! Classic styling, very flattering and great quality. I own the red and navy and always feel pretty wearing this dress- have gotten compliments every single time! I was really sad to return this dress, for I liked it very much and it looked good. But I spent a long time ironing it as it came from the package and it still didn't look pressed. I thought about how it would look after getting out of a car. I could imagine the back of the skirt being wrinkled again. I realized that it was too high maintenance and I don't have time to spend ironing. If the design/color/detailing was the same in a user-friendly fabric I would have been wearing it today [...] Sorry.

The dress was more durable than I had imagined. Easy care. I didn't want to iron it, so I wet it and threw it in the dryer. Came out beautifully and still intact. I love the dress because you can dress it down for just a summer dress or add a fancy belt or ribbon and wear it to a wedding, like I did.

Ilike my dress to come about to the middle of my calf so to have this dress just the way I like it I am paying $20.00 to have it shortened because it was down to my ankles. Most of the dresses in your catalog are either too short my taste or too long, which if I like it enough to pay to have it shorten I usually do that. Also I do think that there would have been some way you to ship the dress in a better conditon. It was so wrinkled I may have to pay to have it pressed to get the wrinkles out of it. Please try to handle dresses and skirts that are a little bit longer than 25" from the waist. Thank you

Very flattering dress. Gets a lot of compliments. The only con is that the under ams are a little tight, other than that, the dress is wonderful to wear, it gets a lot of attendtion.

I love this dress, but it runs small. I have re-ordered in a larger size - hope it fits. I love the length, the way it is cut, and the classic colors. I would like to see a dress like this with short or cap sleeves.
