I ordered the dress to wear to my son's wedding. It was a least 2 sizes to small although I ordered my correct size, so I returned the dress. I never wore it therefore I can not comment about anything else.

I bought this dress for my son's wedding. I like this dress,HOWEVER, it is several inches too long at size 12 and 5'4" with 2 inch heels. The zipper puckers badly as stated by others. I bought having seen those comments and having a friend who does alterations and would be able to fix it for me if needed...it's needed!

I should have listened to the other reviews and realized that the zippers would not be of the expected quality. With both of the dresses, the color was beautiful, the zippers did not move easily and made me look like I had a tail!

I ordered this dress for my son's wedding. I ordered a size 16 going off the Chadwick's size chart and it was no where near a size 16. My daughter who wears a size 9 juniors fit into it perfectly. It is a beautiful dress. I was very dissapointed that the chadwick's size chart does not come close to what the actual garment size is.

I bought this dress to wear as the mother-of-the-bride dress. What an absolute perfect dress! I received more compliments on everything about the dress. After 7 hours in the dress, it felt as though I just put it on. It is very flattering, sophisticated and comfortable. I bought this dress for my son's wedding. The color and style are exactly what I wanted, but good thing I had plenty of time--I had to send it back [...] I ordered another one--right size--but has the same zipper problem. So now, since I no longer have time to look for a new dress, this one is at the seamstress. It turns out the dress is cut on the bias, and the fabric was stretched too much when the zipper was put in. I have confidence that she will be able to fix it--but I really don't think you should have to send a brand new dress to the seamstress to have it fixed.

I read other reviews saying the zipper was poor, but I decided that the problem may have been corrected. I was wrong. It was difficult to get the zipper down. When I finally did, I could not get it zipped back up. The dress also ran a size small.

This is a lovely dress that's classically understated. The cobalt blue color is a nice change from standard black. The beading is well done and the quality is what you would expect of high-end clothing. I have only two complaints, both of which can be solved: (1) the end of the invisible zipper pokes out a bit in the back, but it's covered by the jacket, so I'm not worried about it; and (2) the dress is longer than I expected and will need to be shortened over 4". All in all, though, a great buy for the money. I'm looking forward to wearing it on a European cruise in September!

The zipper bunched up in the back and was unwearable. The dress was about 3 inches too long even with 3 inch heels on. I am 5'4 and I ordered a size 4.

This elegant dress is far more beautiful than the picture shows. The material has a gorgeous sheen which glistens gently when one moves and the closure button on the jacket is of exceptionally high quality. The dress looks like it cost far more than it did.

I haven't worn the dress yet. It's for my daughter's wedding in June. Although it's beautiful it is unwearable without replacing the jacket clasp. I opened the ornate clasp on the front of the jacket when I tried it on and it broke. Now it cannot be fastened. The metal looks very old and weak. We are looking at local retailers hoping to find something to replace it with. Hopefully this will happen, because I really want to wear this dress to the wedding.

I had a lot of problems with this dress--the latch broke on this first one, the first time I tried it on. You sent me a replacement and the latch broke in exactly the same place. There's clearly a flaw in the latch.
I requested another one, and unfortunately the event I needed it for was out of town and I didn't receive the third one on time.
The dress itself is beautiful and the quality in all other ways is great, but the jeweled latch on the jacket is faulty.

This was a beautiful dress that I bought to wear to a friends wedding, the first dress I recieved fit wonderfully but the clasp that closed the jacket broke. So having enough time to have another one mailed to me I had them send me another. The day of the wedding arrived and the same thing happened again! So I have to tac the clasp shut and wear the jacket pinned to the rest of the dress during the wedding. It was not a very fun experience and I will not be buying another dress like this for a very long time.
