This is a beautiful dress. In regards to size, I found it to be "true to size" because the length of the dress and sleeves were perfect and the fit everywhere else was just as expected. I wear a size 8 and I ordered a size 8 and it was a perfect fit. I am 5'6" and of average weight. I plan to wear this dress to a wedding in December. I hope this review is helpful.

It is roomy. I have sent it to a seamstress to have it shortened. You would need to be at least 5'6'' to have it fit properly. If your chest is of average size you can probably get away with a smaller size. It took 4 weeks and 3 tries to get me the size I ordered in good condition. I hate shopping but I think going to the store would have been quicker and simpler in this instance.

This dress fit me well but just didn't look right on me. The beading on top has several colors and looks a little gaudy. This particular dress had a loose thread on the bodice and the beadwork was falling off. I returned it.

I've had my doubts about ordering clothes on line. My experience with online shopping in clothes has always resulted in a return. I was sure that I would be returning this dress as well. But to my surprise the dress fit perfectly.
I have a long turso and I'm 5'8" tall and wear a size 14 which can be too big but the bodice fits me well and I usally have the dress altered to fit. Size 12 too short in the bodice, I'm very happy with this purchase.

I bought this dress for my daughter's wedding in April. The style is more flattering than any mother-of-the bride dresses that I saw in local bridal shops.
