Dress is not true to size. Usually wear an 8 and I needed a 12. Seams were not sewn well. Other than that it looked great. Very pretty dress.

I just got back from my vacation cruise to Cabo San Lucas. I wore the dress for the formal dress night. I received lots of compliments on this dress. The zipper is a little difficult and the color rubbed off on my arms. Luckily that was not noticeable until I took the dress off.

This dress is nice. No beads, though. It has small ruffled trim and sequin-looking plastic discs. On, however, it looks very stunning from a distance. It is made out of a stretch mesh, which I was not expecting. It is shorter on me (just above knee) than on the model in the catalog and I'm not that tall (5'7").

This dress is beautiful and fit true to size; however, I felt the fit on me was not as pictured on the model. On me, the dress gapped open at the back neckline unless the sleeves were pulled off (or nearly off) my shoulders. Also, the dress was very low cut and would have made me uncomfortable wearing it to a family wedding.

After reading other reviews I knew to order one size up as I am between 2 sizes. The bigger size fit but it just didn't wow me!

I thought the dress was a good deal for the money. It would be useful for black tie optional, cocktail or other dressy occasion. It looks more expensive than it is and is very stylish.
The only problem I could detect was it lacks durability because of the zipper and beading. Hopefully it will hold up during the dry cleaning.

I really like this dress. It is very flattering and perfect for an occasion such as a dinner party or wedding reception. It is a little too short for my taste, but fits perfectly in every other aspect.

I purchased this to wear to a wedding and on a cruise. I read the other reviews before purchasing, I usually wear a six, so I ordered an eight. The dress fits almost perfect except the top is too big and it gaps at the back of my neck. I took the dress to a seamstress who added a few tucks at the shoulder seams and stitched the low cut in the front (so I don't hang out) and it is now perfect. I am very pleased and excited to wear it next weekend.

The quality and fit were poor for the price of the dress and thus I returned it. I haven't done much shopping with Chadwicks and if this is an example of what their merchandise is, I don't think I will in the future.

Perfect fit front to back & top to bottom (size 8), IF you have the right foundation (silky, firm texture so the dress doesn't ride up). This is just right for the black tie event I ordered it for, & I'll be proud to wear it in a room full of $1000 gowns! Elegant for a formal occasion with enough stretch to sit through dinner. Classic, but with a slight vintage feel. Love it!

I just received this dress - I was a little worried because I needed it for this Sunday! Great dress. I took the advice of the other reviewers - I ordered up a size - I am between a 4 and 6 depending and the 6 fits great. Very flattering and I feel great in it. It is very low cut however but I can wear it with a regular black low cut bra which is a plus. Not the most comfortable - I feel like it is somewhat fragile. I couldn't have found a nicer dress for the price. It is classic but "sexy".

I got this dress to wear for a wedding and just hoped that it looked even halfway as good on me as it does on the woman wearing it in the picture. I was sooooo excited when it finally arrived and I ran up and tried it on right away. You know when you try something on that is sexy and you think it looks good....maybe really good.....yeah, this is that dress. Believe me I am not a flaunt it kind of woman at all and this dress gives that sexy feel, without showing everything. It tastefully accents all the natural curves and is a wonderful cut and line over the shoulder which accentuates the collarbone so very nicely. The dress has some stretch in it too giving you added comfort when you move around. Everyone I have tried it on for (husband, sister, daughter, mom) loves it, wanted to know where I got it, etc. I am so excited to wear it to the wedding, and anywhere else I can think of. The only con is that it with a knit like this there will be a tendency for the dress to ride up if you have wider hips. If this is the case I would highly recommend going up to a size to accommodate the hips and have the top taken in. You will be glad you did when you see yourself in this dress!

Love the dress....several women at the anniversary party that I attended wanted to borrow it!! The top is a little low for me, so I wore a lacey tank top underneath that seemed to match the dress perfectly. I am definitely happy with the purchase :)

The dress is detailed with sequins and adorable truffles swinging completely around it, while still maintaining a mature and classy look. Unfortunately, I had to return it because it brought to much attention to my abdominal area. I still higly recommend this dress! It's very pretty and works great in a dress-up situation. Just keep in mind that it is form fitting, so it will show you off. If you are lingering between sizes, I recommend going with the size up rather than down. This is definitley a dress you'll find yourself resorting to for future events!

fit perfect everywhere except around the back near the neck line the picture looks like it sits on the shoulder but if I do that then the back has a real big pulge does not fit at the top at all.

I normally wear a 10, but had to send the 10 back and order the 12. Ran small. However, the shoulders were too large in the 12,kept slipping down. Pretty and flattering, but a little uncomfortable. Would recommend for special occasions where you don't have to wear it for a long period of time.
