I was going to wear this to my son's wedding. It is a beautiful dress, but the neckline was too low, the shoulders of the dress would not stay on me, and the length was too long. If I had the time to have it altered, I would. It was rich and gorgeous! I am sorry it didn't fit me. (I have always bought size 4 at Chadwick's, but this 4 did not fit.)

I chose this dress to wear for my son's wedding and received MANY compliments. It is a bit darker beige than the picture, a very rich color. I did put a few stitches in to keep the top from gapping at the crossover and pinned it to my bra for extra measure. That did the trick. The description does not say that the back is also V-ed. I felt very comfortable in this dress through a big dinner and many hours spent dancing and visiting with guests. I am 5'6" and the dress was to the floor w/2" heels, a bit longer than shown in the picture.

I will wear this dress as maid of honor for a wedding, but am disappointed that many beads have already fallen off just in trying on the dress. I've never had a beaded dress so maybe this is common? The dress comes with a bag of extra beads so I guess the manufacturer expects this to happen. It is very flattering and I am relieved because I did not want a strapless or tiny strap gown. This is modest but lovely.

Of all the dresses I have tried on while shopping for a "Mother of Groom" dress, this was my favorite from the first. The color, style, and everything was so perfect, except that I am still trying to decide whether to keep it or not since it is actually too low cut for me. And the shoulders feel like they might fall right off me. I love the dress however, and if someone here can alter it, it will be the one I will wear to our son's wedding. Otherwise, I will have to return it and wear my second favorite one.
