I bought this to wear to my son's wedding in Perth, Australia this October. I purchased it with reservations, as I am not one to normally buy clothing online. I'm totally pleased with the dress -- it's flattering, dressy, comfortable, a nice fabric and weight and will pack extremely well on the trip (no wrinkles!) I am going to my 20 year high school reunion next week! I visited so many stores within the last 3 weeks to absolutely no avail. I was thoroughly disappointed...I initially did not want to wear black since the upcoming event is in August and may be too hot....but when I saw THIS dress...I completely changed my mind about wearing black.
I rush ordered it and received it today. I put it on immediately and donned my high heels. It's just gorgeous! Perfect, fits like a glove and I am AMAZED I don't have to alter it in any way! And I don't have a perfect figure either, I'm small and not very tall, so ordering the petite was a perfect choice.
The broach and ruffled front gives the dress a very elegant and sophisticated look. I don't get to dress up much being a mom of a 3 yr. old, so the opportunity to look nice will be special! I am going to wow them at the reunion! Thanks Chadwicks!

Love the dress I am wearing it to an upcoming wedding. It fit perfect out of the bag and I'm hard to fit because of physical deformity. It hides the scoliosis and looks great to boot. I'm 5'2" and with heals have over an inch to spare from the floor in the back of the dress. Very saticfied. Husband loves it!!!! Extremely comfortable and for those who are busty or small busted I believe it's very modest and fits all.

I ordered three different dresses at the same time and this was the one! I didn't give it 5 stars because the material is NOT chiffon, it's more like a knit jersey. That's fine with me because it's very comfortable. The way the material is gathered on the front, under the brooch, creates a cascade of material to hide your tummy, so no need to suck it in! The length is perfect for heels. I am wearing this to my daughter's wedding in September and I checked around, it's now OKAY to wear black to a wedding!

I ordered this dress on Monday for a special even on Saturday on a whim and it fit amazingly! It is a great fabric that I did not even have to have steamed/pressed after receiving it in the mail. It's very figure flattering for my 5'8 145 lb pear shaped frame.
I would definitely recommend it for a coctail party or special event. I was able to wear a regular bra with it with no showing through and it was very comfortable for all night wear.

Best thing I've gotten in a long time. I go on cruises, alot of parties, clubbing, etc. where you want comfort and versatility - this dress has it all! It's the quintessential "little black dress", but in a longer, a bit more dressy length!
I just got it but have not worn it yet (I'll try and remember to write another review later). I'm 5'10 an d ordered a size 12. It fit almost perfect, just gapped a bit under the arms. I was amazed at how long it is. The back almost touches my heels, so I was excited. I think shorter people would have trouble with this dress. I used a coupon so the dress was considerably less; I'm not sure I'd pay the full price for the quality of fabric. It's comfortable and looks fine, but upon touch, you know it's not high quality. I'd still recommend it - just know what you're getting.

This would be a nice dress in a different fabric. This fabric seemed too dull and heavy for the design. It says chiffon, but it must be industrial weight chiffon if it is. I think sheer chiffon with an underliner would be prettier. Also, top of the shoulder to the empire level was too "short" and oddly snug. Kind of made the girls point to the sky, if you get my drift. Too much uplift.

I bought this dress for a formal wedding we were invited to. I am amazed at how it looks on me. I'm tall, but also on the heavy side. This dress gave me confidence with how I looked. The brooch gives it just the right added formality/dressy look. I can not find anything negative about this dress.

Taking to a black tie wedding - great choice if you want comfort and great lines. Does seem to run long, so it is a bit expensive to get altered because of unusual bottom hem.

Purchased for formal night on a cruise I'm taking. Great price for the product. Material is wonderful for travel. It arrived in a bag rolled up and when I took it out it looked like it had just come back from the cleaners. Not sure about how well it washes since it's new and I haven't used it yet. My husband said "WOW" when I tried it on. I'm sure it's going to feel great walking around on deck for our cruise and feel the material fluttering around me in the breeze. Feels like it was made for me, comfortable and feminine. Elegant and sexy but NOT trashy. This is a good one ladies.

I wore the dress to a military ball and it was fine. I would have liked to the dress to have been less money for the quality of the dress. It is polyester type material and cost over $100 with shipping. That is too much money for a polyester dress.
