Dress description fails to tell the buyer it is one piece... the words
"Taffeta dress combines a faux white shirt with elbow-length cuffed sleeves and feminine ruffled collar with a long black skirt" lead me to believe it was a shirt and a long black skirt.

It looks great in the photo, very clasic appeal, but it is incorrectly engineered. It should be two pieces instead of one piece. Very hard to struggle to get into! Two pieces would probably fit more people.

This looked lovely in the catalog, however the pleated fabric along the neckline and crossover is almost humorous. If it was two inches shorter I wouldn't have felt like Queen Elizabeth and may not have returned it. The bodice also fit poorly and I found it very odd how it zipped in the back.

The dress is beautiful. It is the perfect dress for formal nights on a cruise. The only negative is that it is hard to get in and out of without getting your make-up onto the the dress. The black or bottom portion of the dress looks like Halloween costume material and was not of the quality I prefer.

The fact that it is a 1 piece outfit was something I didn't realize until I received it. When putting it on it seemed that the length of my torso wasn't exactly the same as the dress and the shirt rode up making it look like I was wearing someone elses clothes and it did not look attractive! It may be really cute on someone with the right body, however.
