The jacket was well-constructed of good-quality fabric. The buttons were a weird washed-out purple color not matching anything else on the jacket (I ordered the striped one). The length was too short.

The material had fuzz all over it when I unwrapped it. The collar had loose threads on it and is misstitched. The top button fell off when I unbuttoned it to try it on.

Overall, the fit was nice. However, the arms were a bit bulky and long. I did however like the colors in it ( I purchased the Navy one and it has purple and gold stripes) I actually wore it with the navy tummy control pants from here. I received several compliments, and it was very comfortable. I am going to exchange it for a 12 b/c of the sleeves. I wish it came is petite as well. I highly recommend it though.

I purchased this blazer in navy with the purple stripe. It is amazingly well constructed. The placement of the ribbon trim is faultless. The exact matching of the stripes is usually found only in high-end clothing. The tonal buttons are tasteful. I saw a blazer like this on a British designer's web-site. This one compares extremely well, particularly at a fraction of the British price. I can see myself wearing this in Paris later this year. I know that in this blazer I will look "well put together" as I visit museums or browse the flea-markets. Well done Boston Design Studio, let us have some more well-made, up-to-date pieces.

I loved the colors in the catalog, so I ordered this jacket to go with a pair of cotton sateen pants that I have. Unfortunately the tipping on the navy striped jacket is a black satin and not the cotton sateen that I thought it would be. Still very nice though.
