This jacket will work well for the work environment in the day-to-day office routine. The color is what I was hoping for. The only problem I am having is that I still can't get the wrinkles out from shipping. Since it is dry clean you can't just throw in the wash to help with that. Fit was okay--the sleeve are just barely big enough around. It is supposed to be a women's size but it is cut like a regular misses size in the sleeves.

The jackets I purchased are very nice. They are a very basic style that can be worn for work or a casual outing. I purchased the blue and white and they were out of the red unfortunately. The blazer is a size 14. It is smaller and shorter (in length) than other linen blazers (size 14) that I have purchased from Chadwick's. When I first tried it on, I thought I might have purchased a petite by mistake but the tag does not have a P as part of the size. I think the blazer is a 14P but was mismarked. I can still wear it so I'll keep it. It's a great color- grape!

No, I would not recommend this to a friend
I bought 2 blazers, both of which were so horribly wrinkled [...], that I had to pay to have them pressed. I expected to use these jackets mainly for work, but after a short period of time they were again wrinkled, and I felt they really looked too shabby for the work environment. For a casual day,with a pair of jeans, they would be fine.
Love the look of the blazer.

I have been buying blazers from Chadwicks for about 10 years.I would say in the last three years.I have had to send back 4 blazers because the material.The sleeves, or the elbows have come apart.They look like they just shred.I had one wool jacket they had only worn once and I wore to a meeting.I went to the bathroom and notice the the elbows had shredded.I took it to my seamstress and she said the material was very good.So I decided I would only buy the ones that come out for spring and summer.But they also do the same thing.So even though I really love the look, I have had to send them back...

I like all your J. Hook jacekts -- summer and winter. Like the range of colors available.
Generally the length is good -- I like the fingertip length jackets -- do NOT like short jacekts.
