I now have this blazer in four colors. I LOVE the mandarin collar. It is not "stuffy" like the classic style, yet it is sort of classic in a way.
I can wear a simple blouse and put on this blazer, and immediately, I feel dressed for a special occasion. I feel stylish when I put this on, and believe it or not, that actually makes me feel good about myself. It's a great "top" to have for a sleevless dress or sundress when attending a wedding. I hope you have the same blazer next year in different colors. I wish I had ordered more colors the first year I bought this blazer. The only "negative" - It wrinkles too easily.

I purchased 28 of these for a school group. I ordered thinking I would get 28 of the same blazer, unfortunately, some were different colors of navy, and some had different buttons. We had planned to add some embellishment, but had hoped not to replace the buttons. That will have to happen now. I realize most people order just one and don't have that issue. Some were labeled chadwicks, others JG Hook. The color variations and button variations did not coincide with the label differences.

I haven't had the chance to wear the blazer yet. I am looking for employment and that is what I will be wearing it for and during my job hunting. I have tried it on and I do like the way it fits and I do feel it will be attractive with what skirts and dresses I will be wearing with it. I also like the pattern. The pattern is nice without being too wild. It's nice to have more than one color to work with in a blazer at the same time.

I plan to use the jacket in the office and/or church. The linen is nice for the warmer weather rather than winter polyester blends.

I did not like the shoulder pads. They affected the fit. I removed them and I am very pleased with the results. I have six of the blazers, all with the pads removed. Oh yeah, I had to shorten the sleeves by one hem length. All the rest is awesome.
