I received compliments on the jacket, though I feel the back gathers are too high. I don't think I could buttons on this jacket. I ordered a size larger than normal based on other reviews. I think it will work nicely over light shirts for dressing them up a little and providing a little warmth in air conditioned buildings.

This is a great looking jacket - until you turn around. The back has a gathered waistband which looks great on the hanger. But when you put in on, the waistband rises up several inches above the natural waist, making the jacket look too small and poor fitting. I'm sending mine back.

This jackets' styling is an attractive one, and can be worn with more causual dress, but also would fit for work with a smart skirt.
Unfortunately for me, the back waist panel was too high, and broke across the top of my back at the shoulder blades instead of the waist.
I am an older shopper, 5'9" who can normally wear a size 16 misses, but this particular items' styling was just a bit too "youthful".
Overall, a very cute jacket who's versatility is well worth the purchase.

If I like an item, I'll usually order it in different colors after I receive the first one. In this case, I ordered the white blazer, absolutely loved it, and decided to order a railroad blue one in the same style. They fit as if made by different manufacturers. I figured it was just and error in the cutting of the second jacket, so I sent it back and re-ordered it. The same thing was true of this one. I gave up and just kept it....too expensive to have to keep returning items and reordering them.

The blazer is a nice light cover for warmer weather. I liked the denim material as that works best with most of my wardrobe (very versatile). I was disappointed at the fit through the shoulders, it seemed a bit too tight. I am planning to exchange it for a larger size in hopes that it will be a better fit. I wear a small to medium with most tops, so going to a large size would be unusual, but I really liked the blazer, so I'll try it anyway.

I always carry a jacket into air conditioned theaters and restaurants in the summer, and this will be a useful one. The weight is just right for a summer cover-up. It runs very small, though. I am generally a size 8 on top but usually order a 10 jacket to allow for an inside layer. I had to exchange the 10 for a 12, which fits fine. Normally a 12 would hang on me.

I ordered this cute jacket and waited quite a while because it was on back order. When it was delivered there was a stain on the right shoulder. I called customer service and was put on hold for a long time and am trying to return this. I've had great dealings with Chadwick's until now.
