They looked much better in the catalog. I first ordered an 8 and though it was a little snug so I sent it back and ordered a 10 which fit tighter than the 8. So I sent that back. [...] Never again!

These are really nice pants, but fit is small. I consistently wear a size 12, and have bought other Chadwicks items in size 12, all fit. But these are tight and very unflattering. The fabric quality is good, but they are going back.
