I normally wear a size 6 or an 8 and usually like the side zip as the waist is smaller than front zip pants (my waist is small in comparison to my hips), however, these pants were not only snug in the hips, but also in the upper thighs and waist area.
The material also seemed a bit scratchy so based on all of the above I returned them instead of exchanging them.

These pants are perfect! They look good for casual or more formal occasions. They are slimming and sleek. Irregular in size. I am a straight size 10. I ordered two size 10 side zipped pants, which I had to return because they were too small. I exchanged them for two size 12's.
