These run a little small. Recommend getting 1 size larger than you normally wear in order to fit like in the catalog picture. Otherwise, great with an oversized shirt, good color. Washes well, did not shrink.

These pants are perfect with a sweater or top for the office. They look nice, are comfortable, and wash and dry well. The only thing that I would change is the texture of the fabric... It seems a little thin and has a bit of a sheen that gives them a cheaper look. For my purposes, they are fine, but they don't look like real quality clothing. Perhaps a slightly different weave and texture would make them heavier and they would look more expensive and drape like a more expensive pair of pants...

Proportionally I have a thick waist so I'm always looking for styles that are forgiving. I always need to buy pants like these that have side or back elastic.
I also like these pants because they have a button and buttonhole. Those stitched on hooks always come loose.

These pants DO NOT fit above the waist as described in the catalogue. In addition, there are two types of the J.G. Hook pants. One type has elastic inserts in the waist which help with the fit. The other types does not have elastic. The previous Chadwick's brand pants were far superior.

I was very surpised this was a J.G.Hook item. I'm always really impressed with their clothes. And I had 3 pair of their pants that became too little. So I was going to re-order in a bigger size 6.
