I bought the outfit primarily for work, though may also wear this out to dinner. I am pleased with the fabric and fit. I'm 5 ft 3 and the length of the petite pants and skirt is perfect. The fabric is very nice, not too thin, as I feared. It is more classic than trendy however it can be dressed up or down with different jewelry and tops, offering versatility. I believe this is a good investment for someone who wants to build a work wardrobe, especially if you are traveling to a conference and don't want to be ironing in your hotel room.

The top sizes don't match the skirt or pants...
and the pants are cut low in the waist/hips -which does not look good on someone who has extra girth in that area.
I really could have had the tops in one size and

Button holes on jacket irregular due to the stretch of the fabric. They sort of "ripple" I have had this happen on stretch fabrics when I make button holes.

I have been looking for a travel wear set in chocolate for some time. I thought I hit pay dirt. Unfortunately, the tank and jacket were shorter than I think they should be and too fitted. This look should be flowing and easy. Instead it was fitted and short. The pants and skirt are unstructured enough to fit fine. I returned the whole outfit.

I love coordinating wardrobe items - so many accessorizing possibilities. I was disappointed that this was not a non-pilling cotton/poly blend like the Units clothing of the 80's, but is 100% polyester jersey knit - (I didn't read carefully). So the fabric is on the rough side, and it's very hot. I still like the design, so I just suffer a little in hot weather. I'm hoping that it will feel cooler in winter. I bought 2 colors, taupe and berry, so I can mix and match. (I might even buy another set if the sale price entices me - I love things that match!) Solid colors can always be jazzed up with trendy belts, scarves and jewelry. So I recommend this, but with warnings as to the fabric choice.

I would prefer pieces that can be purchased separately, rather than as a set. Most of us are different sizes on top and bottom. I am a M for the pants and skirt and an XL on top. The top was skimpy. It just looked cheap and the color olive wasn't olive. It was more of a taupe, which was disappointing.

This is a great outfit for travel because it's comfortable, wrinkle free, it packs easily, doesn't take up a lot of space, will dry quickly if laundering is needed, and can be matched with other wardrobe pieces. I think, however, that the slacks should be a bit longer. I am average height (5'4") and the slacks are shorter than I like for flared legs. The hem can be let down. I planned to use this outfit in the office setting primarily, but find that the fabric lends itself well to packing as it came out of the bag wrinkle free. not so happy that although it appears loose and comfy, it is cut small and doesn't hang on the body without support undergarments, and I'm not overweight---
