No, I would not recommend this to a friend
The sweater is itchy. The ruffle that goes up the side where it's tied flops down. The tie on the side doesn't sit right to get the criss cross look.
Haven't washed it yet I'm afraid it will fall appart. It's crunchy and stiff. Not soft or luxurious like description.
