I have worn this at my friend's mother's condo which requires coverups in the halls and to the pool. I have also worn it on the beach to take a walk. I bought this for my vacation to Hawaii in a couple of weeks. It is exactly what I was looking for. It will be perfect as a cover up for my swim suit. It fits true to size and is not too short (and I'm on the taller side). The only bad thing I have to say about it is that the fabric isn't the best. However, for the price I can't complain!

This dress is suitable for wearing at home or outside over a swimsuit as a cover up. I wouldn't wear it as a dress in public because the top is too loose and requires pulling up every so often. The looseness of the top makes it impossible to wear as a skirt because of the bulk. I'm fine wearing it at home on a hot day, and for the small price I paid, I think I got what I paid for.

I have never worn the dress as a skirt, not yet. I wear it as a regular strapless dress, not a coverup. It looks adorable. You will have to wear a light slip with it because the bottom portion is somewhat thin. I have worn it with and without a strapless bra, the top is thicker. The inside of the top is a little rough but softens after washing. All in all, I love this item.

I had low expectations for this dress/skirt but it was inexpensive and I was ordering anyway so I bought it and I love it, what an unexpected and affordable surprise. Very nice as a dress, not so great as a skirt. Can work as skirt but it's kind of awkward. Runs large. I ordered a small and it fits and i am NOT a small :)
