The dress was very cute but it did not fit properly. The bust was too big and I ordered it in both a medium and then a small. They both did not fit me well. The rest of the dress fit fine but I would have had to take it in and it wasn't worth the price to take it to a tailor. Both of the dresses were sent back.

The top bust area flares out a bit but if you wear a black bra it is not that noticable, just looks like part of the dress. I was worried this style would make me look a little hippy but it actually looked sliming, this dress would work at an at home pool party, boardwalk, beach, or at a resort cafe.

I bought this on sale for very little money. I also read all of the reviews which were all over the map. I changed the ties from center bosum to a halter configuration (ties attache on each side. This provided a better fit. All in all, the dress meets my expectations.

I wore this to a luau and I got more compliments. I think it runs a little big. If you wear this as a beach cover-up, you'll be fine. There is no proper hem, and it really needs to have elastic in the top. I had to use double-stick tape to keep "things" hidden but was still worried while dancing.

The major problem with this dress is that it fit poorly. The top part was cute, but underneath the smocking, it stuck out. It was ackward. There was no way to get around this fit. And I sew, so I could have fixed it, but couldn't. The material must have been gathered too much in the front, b/c it layed weird. The dress would have been cute and useful, if that detail was better designed. There was no hem at the end, which was fine- you didn't notice. I guess it would have been okay to cut it off at whatever length that you wanted it and it not ravel.

This is a very versatile item. Great with a small tank underneath - or over a bathing suit. I am using it to go on vacation with for walking around - very comfortable......light so it needs something underneath but very comfortable.

I was very excited to receive this until I unfolded it. It was bigger than anything I've ever owned. Its marked small, yet, if my 6'2" husband wanted to wear it, it would fit him much better than me. I am 5'3" and less than 120lbs and there was no way for me to even keep the dress up without major alterations. I hope that the wrong tag was in the dress, but if not, I am very dissatisfied with the product.
