The gown and jacket where very pretty. The jacked sleeve openings seemed to be cut way too small thus was very tight under the arms. The dress fit everywhere except the bustline, which I thought was very big for the size I ordered. Also the lenght was extremely long for a petite 2. Sorry but I had to return it and keep looking for another dress for an October wedding.

I will use this dress for daughter's wedding in fall. I love everything about dress except spaghetti straps. [...]. So I will not be able to take off jacket at wedding reception. Also like longer length. I am 5'5" but petite 6 everywhere else, so extra long length came out perfect for me. Beautiful color! Don't know if wrinkles easily. Have to have it steam pressed due to packaging/transit.

I purchased this dress, in Black, for a formal/semi-formal dinner/dance. I am very pleased with the classic, elegant look. I had shopped all local stores/ordered from upscale catelogs, and bought many but returned them all for diffrent reasons, i.e., fit, material. The way the dress is made with sequins on the top and a jacket, allows option of wearing without a bra. Material did not wrinkle. The petite size was too long-I'm 5'3" so I did have to get it hemmed but was worth the end results.

This dress was my 1st choice for the wedding until the back ordered dress arrived from Chadwick's. This one is a bit heavy for me in summer and I needed to shorten it about 3 inches.

I wore this dress to my son's wedding and was flattered by all the responses of how elegant it looked. If someone is looking for a comfortable dress that they need to wear for a special occasion, this is their dress.

I bought this to wear to my son's wedding. I am not greatly impressed with the quality of the fabric or workmanship, but the color is perfect and I like the style, especially the jacket. I had to send the first dress back because the zipper pokes out in the back. [...] I hope the new one does not have this problem because I can't find anything I like as well. I really want to wear this dress!

The dress was a perfect fit (12P) and very comfortably. However, the sleeves on the jacket were a bit tight. I did make a small adjustment to the sleeves. I wore the dress and jacket for 8 hours and was comfortable walking, sitting, and dancing. The design of the dress allowed for full coverage with the jacket off.

I was surprised how well this dress fit, with the exception of the bust line which had to be taken in. Perfect dress for the mother of bride/groom.

Beautiful gown! Crummy fit though. Nds major tailoring. Hiked up bust to keep from tripping over bottom. Not a petite fit!!! Would buy again but go down a size had I known it's huge. Perfect for the event. Buy dress first then shoes b/c it's got a purple hew and navy shoes look bad. Bust size was enourmous (I'm a 36 and it was swimming)Overall very expensive looking, poor fit.

Was going to wear it for my son's wedding. Since I am two different sizes one on top one on bottom, I bought the bust size. The bust was way too gaping and the straps way too long. The fit through the hip was slightly tight. And the arms in the jacket were way too tight.
Loved the color and it seemed if I could have gotten it to fit everywhere else it would have looked really nice.

I bought this dress for my son's wedding. I was hoping that because it was a Petite, I would not have to pay for alterations. Generally, that was the case, but it was at least 3" too long on me. At 5' 2", I'm not that short of a petite, so I was a little disappointed by that. Otherwise, the dress is gorgeous.
