THIS DRESS HAS BIG OVER SIZED CUFFS AND I COLLAR THAT LOOKS OUT OF PLACE ON A V SHAPED NECKLINE . I THOUGHT THE TOP OF THE DRESS WAS TO SHINY. I DIDN'T LIKE THE STYLE OF THIS DRESS. HOWEVER THE FIT WAS GOOD

I loved this dress except for the collar. But the collar is so bad that I'm returning the dress. The collar is MUCH larger than it appears in the photo (which quite frankly doesn't even make it look like it has a collar). It didn't fold over the normal way a collar folds so that you don't see material on the underside of the collar once it's folded. There was an extra 1/2 to 3/4 inch of material showing before the collar started its fold. It made the collar look gigantic and gave it a weird 70's look.

The picture in the magazine caught my eye immediately. I didn't realize it was a satin type fabric on top and a knit below the bustline. The length was fine, but the collar did not feel comfortable. It tended to want to stick up in the back of the neck. The 3/4 length sleeves fit correctly, but in the South the satin would be too hot. If I had kept it, I would have added a snap or something to the surplice to keep it closed!
