This was such a beautiful dress but had such a horrible fit. The empire waist was supposed to end just below the bust line. However, the seam went ACROSS my bust line, and I'm only a 34B and I ordered the size 4 petite. In addition, the tie is at the empire waist, which would be just below your bust line and look utterly ridiculous in real life. As mentioned elsewhere, the tie is also way too heavy to stay up so then it sags below the empire waistline. I was very disappointed since this was beautiful in the photo.

I like the material and the feel of the dress. Since I'm in between sizes, I ordered both a 12P and a 14P. Unfortunately, both dresses made me look VERY pregnant (and I'm not) due to too much material under the bust area. If you can fix that, I'd love to give this dress another try.

I love the color and the dress fits me perfectly, no alteration needed. The only thing is the blue tie wouldn't stay unless I put a little clip or pin underneath to help it stay. It's no big deal, compared to the benefits of having this beautiful dress.
