The first time I bought it in my true size and, even though it fit me well, the elastic in the sleeves and waist were extremely uncomfortable. When I read the reviews on this dress, I was a little worried about the size to order, but I did order the size I usually wear and it fits perfectly. This dress fits close to the body, and has a high waist which I saw in the picture and was not surprised by it. I love it, and you can't beat the price.

Nice colors and quality fabric, but the top is very tight across the chest and shoulders, making it uncomfortable. The tight chest and arms are not flattering, even for a small person.

The material was wonderful, but the design of the neckline and sleeves almost looked "hand made"....the catalogue picture doesn't show this. The waistline was too high, but otherwise the fit was fine. Wish it had been different...

Loved the dress, however it was much too small in the bust and was rather short in the waist which is unusual for me since I am rather short and most items are too long in the waist for me.

I always can depend on a 10P from Chadwick's fitting me perfectly. I could barely get this dress on! Excruciatingly tight. And the material looked and felt cheap. Very disappointed.

I am shipping this dress back also. The color seems different then in the catalog. The dress in general feels too small, very tight in waist, and waist is too hight, dress doesn't feel comfortable to wear.

This dress gathered tightly around the rib-cage as if it were an empire waist, but instead on draping or flowing below the empire waist, it poofed. (A lighter material may have draped better.) As a result, the waist wasn't defined, but looked bigger. Not flattering.

Based on other comments I decided to order this dress in a 4P rather than my regular 2P size and I'm very glad I did or the dress would never have fit. I was somewhat disappointed in the quality -- mostly the smell of the material when the package was opened. However, the dress is wearable and will probably use for around the house and running errands, etc.

I am disappointed that I had to send the dress back---it looked great on me. I ordered my size and because of the elastic in the waist and sleeves, it felt too tight and was uncomfortable. It fit beautifully everywhere else though.
