It's a great, classic design, but I was very disappointed to see that it was lined in polyester. I only wear sundresses when it's really hot, and instead of a thin cotton lining (as was another dress on same page) this one is too uncomfortable in Wash. DC sweltering heat. I liked the design so much that I might cut out the lining.

I don't know who made the decision to line a cool cotton summer dress with a polyester lining. It's a cute dress, and I like the color, although it's greener than expected. If you live in a hot humid climate, this dress may not work.

Ordered my regular size had to send it back, waited 5-6 weeks for one size larger and the bust is still tight even though the rest of the dress fits comfortably and I am only a B cup. This dress is really only made to accomodate an A-cup woman. Retails for [$]for that price it should be lined which it is not.

I purchased the dress in a smaller size which fit okay except for the bust area. I ordered it in a size large enough for my bust but now the length is way too long (it is now ankle-length) and the waist is slightly loose. Overall, it is very pretty and looks very good on me but I will have to have it shortened significantly.

Very cute dress for summer. I plan on wearing it on vacation to NYC and the beach in California. I have not yet washed it, so I don't know how it holds up as to wrinkles and packing. The material is light and airy, but it is lined with a synthetic material that might feel too hot on warmer days.

In trying to decide which size to order I read the comments and decided to order the larger of the two sizes - it fits like it was made just for me. The only down side is it is a cotton sundress that is lined with "polyester". That is too hot. Where I live it gets in the 100's and above for 5 or 6 weeks in the summer, and cotton was what I was looking for. I thought about cutting the linling out, but my solution is to wear a full cotton slip under the dress - 3 layers, but better than polyester next to my skin.

this is a sweet, feminine, flattering summer dress you can throw on and either dress down or up. because it is cotton it is a little "rumpled" looking, but i didn't mind that at all. (kinda shabby chic). i received tons of compliments when i wore it : )

The bodice on this dress fits very nicely from shoulder to waist - the waist could be a bit more narrow/more fitted, which would make the dress that much more attractive to wear. The lightweight fabric (plus lining) makes it a nice option for hotter, summer days.

It is a very nice, good quality, casual dress. Ideal for summer activities in the afternoon or evening, like dinner with friends or go to the movies, including a walk on the beach. Love the dress! It's lightweight, but the best part is that it's lined. And well-made. I need petite sizes--this was described as a drop-waist length bodice. On me, though, the petite size is higher than my actual waist. Also, this particular item fit a little smaller than other items I have gotten that were the same brand. If I were trying this on in the store, I would have tried different sizes. I can, and will, wear this, but it's not a drop-waist on me, and I was disappointed.

The butterflies look like they were drawn in crayon colors, like the comic strips. The dress seemed two sizes smaller than the size, not just tight, but had several inches to go.

I ordered this dress in 6 Petite, my normal size. I love the butterfly print and the flattering waistline. I have a small waist and the cut looked good. However, I found the bust to be too tight and the length way too long. I'm 5'2" and my legs looked like little stumps! I am somewhat hard to fit but if I had a smaller chest and longer legs, the dress would have been incredible.
