This dress is a nice shape and should be flattering, but even after returning it and getting a smaller size (my fault - lost weight), the top seems too big in proportion to the rest. I do like that the V-neck is stitched for more coverage and also the wide straps. It is 100% cotton so I'm hoping that it will shrink a bit. [...] Perhaps it should have come with a lining, though. It is extremely thin and who wants to wear a full slip in the summer?

I agree that the fabric is thinner than expected--this is definitely just a lightweight summer dress. But the 6P fits me beatifully. I am small-busted (36A) so sometimes dresses hang too low on me since I don't have the chest to use up some of that fabric up top. But this hits me right where it should. If you are big busted, you might have the opposite problem w/this dress (I didn't ask for size petite so be careful!). It is a keeper! My favorite in my order! Oh and the clover green pattern is SO CUTE! Better than expected even. And the clover green kitten hell thongs are a perfect match.
I would buy it again. Love it!!!

I returned the too large 6P for a 4P. Normally, I'm 6P, but this seemed to run big. My bust is definitely accentuated with this v-neck. When I said I needed a tank under it though, my mom, and especially my husband, disagreed. It's a cute, simple dress that I will wear on casual dates. With a tanktop underneath, it could go to work or church.

I'm 5'2" and always wear a 4 reg or 6P. This 6P was very big in the bust (surprising since I am a D-cup) and loose in the waist. The length and cut, in general, seemed right. I guess I'll try the 4P and see how it does.

I have ordered several dresses from Chadwicks and up until this dress, all have fit well. In fact, I was surprised that this particular dress fitted the way it did. The cut of the upper body is awkward. Even when zipped, the material gaps at the sides, under the arms.

The dress is a little bit too low cut for me. I ordered an 8 petite expecting it to run pretty similar to the sizes that Chadwick's carries - a little bit small - but it was actually too big. I have to go and get it altered because there is just not enough of me up top to fill it out.

The design of the dress was really nice. I was looking forward to wearing the dress on casual days to work or to run errands. Unfortunately, the color of the dress was different from the picture online. The dress has a lot of gray in it and online it looks like it's white. Also the V neck of the dress did not lay flat when it was on. I looked like it had not been sewn well--like there was too much fabric.
