This would have been a great mother of the bride dress. I am 5'2 and between 12P & 14P. This dress was just too tight in the hips and waist. I could zip it up but it was tight. I would have to go up a size but it would probably be too big in the bust and shoulders.

I wear size 12 regularly. The size 12 regular was too tight and too long. 14P was too big,but perfect length. 12P fit perfect in the bust and length. 12P was looser in bust than 12 regular.

The shrug that accompanied this 4P dress is marked 12P. Was this a mistake, or are all of the 4P dresses accompanied by a 12P shrug? Because of the design of the shrug, it "works" o.k.with different size dresses, but when the size of the shrug is the first thing you see upon opening the package, the discrepancy is a bit alarming.

You should be aware that the shrug is labled size
12P, while the dress, the size I ordered, is size 4P. At first, I was alarmed about the discrepancy. When I tried it on I found that it is o.k. for me, although it fits me differently than the shrug on the model shown in your catalog.This is fine with me as I can use the extra coverage. If all of the shrugs for the size 4P dresses are marked size 12P, other customers may be alarmed as I was at first.
