I got many compliments on the dress and the color (red). However, I was disappointed to notice (after I'd worn it already so I couldn't return it) that the workmanship wasn't quite what I would have expected for JG Hook. The spacing between the bust darts is not centered. For that reason I would recommend this garment with reservations. Oh-- and what side zip? Mine has none. I slipped it over my head. Maybe my dress was made on a Monday.

I bought this dress in brown, very stylish with heels! You can toss it in the wash and it looks great. I would have liked a bit more shaping in the torso to make it even more feminine, but it is a definite keeper anyway.

I wore this dress to a wedding. I loved the fit, and pullover style. I prefer clothes made of rayon,linen or cotton instead of polyester. I try to avoid polyester due to the sweat factor.

The dress fits well and is pretty, but it looked a lot better in the catalog. Static tends to build up between the lining and the dress material causing the lining to ride up which isn't so good. I am considering returning it mostly due to the static.

This dress is much prettier in person than the picture. I got it in brown to wear to dinner on an upcoming cruise. I don't have much of a waist, and the shape of this dress is very flattering. I won't need an iron when I unpack it, and it can be dressed up or down. My only complaint is that the seam that points down in the front under the bust doesn't line up with the one that points up on the waist. But it's not really noticeable because of the dark print, and it's not a big enough deal to warrant an exchange. It's a really beautiful dress. I don't like sleeveless dresses, and the pretty sleeves just cover the tops of my shoulders perfectly. This dress will be great for dancing!
