The dress is well-made except that the waist falls about four inches too high - it actually sits more under the bust. I ordered a petite (which is what I always order in dresses as I am only 5'2"), but this waist line could only work on a midget. Not a keeper.

This dress is really cute - nice enough for the office on a hot day, but not too fussy. The one MAJOR drawback is that the waistline is so high, it's almost like an empire waist. I'm only five feet tall and I ordered a petite, but the fit (other than length) is terrible.

I got this in navy. It is a deep dark blue that is hard to find. A true navy. The dress material is a good weight cotton. The spandex makes it flattering and wrinkle resistant. The style of the dress makes it possible to dress up and down. I usually wear the average height clothes. However, I do not like this style dress with the hem at my ankle, so I got a petite. It is a nice length that is mid-calf, and the rest of the fitting of the dress is perfect.

Casual & dressy at the same time! Very flattering. I'm a little wider across the rear end than I'd like to be and this dress plays that down, making your waist appear slimmer. The belt is surprising well made too. I don't like that it wrinkles, but nothing's perfect! - It's not as wrinkly as linen, though, so don't let that detract you, because it's a great dress. Nice, lightweight fabric is good for the warmer weather too.

Based on other user comments saying bust & sleeves were snug, I ordered the petite a size up, which I normally have to w/petite anyway - I'm short, not narrow - and it fit perfectly, no yawning b/w the buttons. It's very slimming. The waist is wierdly high, but in the navy it's not obvious. I let the belt hang loosely or else don't even wear one, and wear a long chunky necklace instead. I like it a lot.

Everything was beautiful about the dress. I love the look & the fit. The only problem I forsee is that the wooden belt is not going to last very long. I didn't like th quality of the material of the belt & it was hard to take off the belt loops to the point where I was afraid because it seemed as if it would break. The color and style are great, but I first ordered a 2P and the waist was way too high. But I loved the color (a beautiful red) so much and the cut of the skirt that I bought a regular size 4 and took it in on the side seams and extended the bust darts. The waist was just right. I was dissapointed in the fabric, thick and stiff. I was expecting a more flowing material. Loved how it looked but it barely covered my knees and I am only 5'2"(things are usualy long on me) It looked hard to iron, and keep wrinkle free( I don't like those sitting marks on the back of dress at the end of day) so I sent it back
