I am only 4' 11" and weigh 90 lbs. I always have problems finding clothes to fit. The jacket fit great except I will have to hem the sleeves. It is soft and the color beautiful. I want to get more in different colors.

My measurements are perfectly in line with Chadwick's size 8 standards. However, this jacket, which I ordered in size 8, feels two sizes too large. I like the jacket itself very much, but will probably have to reorder in size 4, or maybe 6, since this is the first jacket I've ever bought from Chadwicks and I'm not sure how the sizing is calibrated.

I have to either remake the sleeves or send it back. As it is,it is unwearable. I will have to cut off about 2 1/2 inches of the end of the sleeves, put in a couple of pleats in the upper part not cut off, and then sew the strip that I cut off back on to the end of the sleeve, make it to lap, make button holes (one in each sleeve), add the buttons to make cuffs and finish the sleeves so it can be worn at all.If you care to reduce the price for having to do so much work on it before the jacket can be used at all, it would be nice. If I couldn't sew, I would have to send it back for sure. I have never seen anything like the way it was made in all my life. This is a great little casual jacket. I just love it when I can shop petite sizes - they fit me SO much better than regular sizes. The sleeves are a little long but overall it's a great fit. I am honestly not a clotheshorse, but I have THREE of these jackets. They are super cute, comfortable, have matching sturdy tees for underneath, and are wonderfully warm for fall and winter. I use this jacket for about any occasion, it is very versatile. I got the sugar plum color, and I love it. I want to get more of these. The only thing that is wrong with it is that the sleeves have a slit in them instead of them being finished off as you would expect in a jacket. Other then that, it is a really super jacket.

I bought this jacket in several colors, all are very pretty. I love the very soft corduroy w/ just a touch of stretch for comfort. The styling is nice and the fit is great. Looks much more expensive than it was. A great bargain. My only complaint is the sleeves. There are no cuffs as you would expect for a jean jacket style. Instead the sleeves have a narrow hem and there is about a 5" slit from the end of the sleeve going up the arm so the sleeves sort of flop open. I am going to add buttons or stitch the slit closed. In spite of this, I really like the jackets.
