I think this jacket is a great way to wear denim while also looking feminine. It's all in the curvy cut of the jacket and the slit-sleeve detail. 99% of the jean jackets on the market are square in shape. Being short wasted and curvy, I didn't need the square shape adding more to my figure. This jacket is perfect. The princess seams give it a great feminine shape, which flatters my curves. The petite fit was just right. I was very happy I finally found a jean jacket that fit well and didn't add bulk. It's very light weight unlike the old square jean jacket I'm tossing. It's a great price and well worth the purchase.

I had been tempted to buy this jacket for years. I had had a jean jacket once and wanted one again but hadn't had a very strong incentive to purchase until recently. [...]. I wanted to match a skirt. The color matched fine but was unflattering on me. I should have known better about the color- my fault. I liked the general style and I may have lived with the color and kept the jacket anyway if it hadn't been for the sleeves. I assumed the jacket would have sturdier sleeve cuffs - instead they are more similar in weight and style to a regular cotton shirt. Also, although I my torso is petite, my arms are proportionately long, and even so, these sleeves were still too long on me. I tried rolling them up, but it just didn't look right, and it would have been inconvenient and tight.

This is a VERY soft, comfortable jacket, but I found some of these reviews misleading. The colors in the catalog and on the website looked fantastic. I had to have the Mineral and Rosehip. The colors looked light and gorgeous and flattering. What I received was dreary, dark-looking colors. It makes me wonder if Chadwick's bleached the garments or Photoshopped them before popping the photos in the catalogs. There is simply no way that the colors come anywhere close to the photos. I realize that the dark colors work fine for some people, but I bought the jacket based on the bright, light colors I saw and feel like I was misled. The sizes are pretty good but run a little big. The back of the jacket is NOT fitted, it is boxy. The photos look like the jacket is totally fitted. It is not. It is very nicely fitted from the front view. Also, no way would I wear this to the office, so I found the reviews misleading. If I tried to wear these (with the exception of the white jacket, I would be told I was wearing a jean jacket and to go home and change. All that being said, this is the most comfortable jean jacket I've worn. I highly recommend it for casual wear, but definitely not for work unless you have an extremely casual office. It is inexpensive and worth buying because I think you will find yourself wearing it constantly due to the extreme comfort and basic, neat good looks. I wore mine around the house the day I received it.

I should have listened to the other reviewers who didn't like the sleeves, but I took my chances since it was such a good price. Not such a deal since now I have to pay shipping to return it. It's boxy and stiff and the sleeves have no button. Since they're too long and can't be rolled back, it makes the whole jacket look too big. (I'm 5'4" and ordered it in petite.) Also, the color was harsher than I thought it would be (I ordered the purple). A disappointment.

Great, bright, happy color in a classic jean jacket. Was stiff out of the box so I washed it right away - washed up just great ( the bright color did bleed, so I was happy I washed it separately). No pressing needed. Will use this jacket over t-shirts and skirts to the office this summer and fall. The petite size ran true to fit, sleeves and length perfect for me.

I love this jacket - I have them in at least six different colors. I buy them when they are on sale or clearance - a fantastic bargain! I just wish that there was a button closure for the sleeves.

I love Denim and sometimes it can be bulky and stiff; this jacket was neither, in fact I bought a second one in a different color. However, the sleeves were a little long for a petite size.

This is my third jacket in this style and I like the khaki just as much as the denim and mulberry courduroy. It is an outfit maker -- really pulls a look together, it's comfortable and the seaming is very slimming. I like the slightly longer length, it makes it something I can wear to work without looking too casual.

When ordering just use a size larger than normal. They are cut a little small. I had to exchange mine.

I got this jeans jacket and was surprised at the feel of the denim. I put it on and it was so comfortable and I loved it. I can't wait for the cool weather so I can wear it all the time.

The jacket is cute but short in the torso. The sleeves are baggy at the ends and have no cuffs or buttons. I wouldn't buy again.

Ordered an 8 petite, which I usually wear, and it fits great. I ordered the jacket in the chocolate color. The flared sleeves are cute. Nice jacket.

Very versatile jean jacket that can be dressed up or down. The berry is a nice color and I got numerous compliments when I wore it the first time. The sleeves are very unique for a jean jacket in that they are slightly flared and are more like a blazer/jacket. The 4P is sized very well.

Love it! Bought the violet and it matches the shoes I bought perfectly - plus goes with the gingham shorts and tropical dress (white with jasmine print) really well! I'm very pleased. AND it's comfortable. Can be dressed up or down.Wore it to my son's graduation dinner at a little $$$$ Italian restaurant In Pismo Beach. Then with the shorts - then with jeans! Great!

I use this jacket to pull a look together -- I bought the denim version, so it's great for turning chinos and a t-shirt into a cute outfit for work. This jacket is very comfortable because of the stretch, but it has a good structure that is very slimming and flattering. The bottom comes down lower than a normal jean jacket would, so it's very wearable. It covers a multitude of sins, so if you have a little muffin top or arms that aren't ready for prime time, you can still have a less dressy look for the office or church but look cute and pulled together. It's also a way to introduce denim even though we can't wear jeans to the office. I've worn it with black capris and a 3/4 length shirt and a linen skirt with a t-shirt. I plan to buy the linen colored jacket too so I can wear it with jeans.
