This is a great jacket and can be worn most anywhere - cute with a skirt, slacks or jeans. It is fine as it but I think it would be better if the sleeves had cuffs with a button or snap closure and if it had pockets.

I love jean jackets but this one didn't quite fit what I was looking for - I wanted a more relaxed fit instead of the fitted look. Realize the relaxed fit is not as stylist today as it was several years ago but that is what is most comfortable for me - especially with a jacket that I take everywhere over all kinds of tops (lightweight and heavier sweaters). Had ordered several different colors and had to return all of them.

99% of the jean jackets on the market are square in shape. Being short wasted and curvy, I didn't need the square shape adding more to my figure. This jacket is perfect. The princess seams give it a great feminine shape, which flatters my curves. The petite fit was just right. I was very happy I finally found a jean jacket that fit well and didn't add bulk. It's very light weight unlike the old square jean jacket I'm tossing. It's a great price and well worth the purchase.

I do like this jean jacket and it fits me quite well (I'm a 2P). The only thing I don't like is the sleeves. I do not like the slit in the sleeves. It is impossible to roll the sleeves up and they just feel awkward and too long. I really wish Chadwick's would start making these jean jackets like the traditional jean jacket with cuffs and buttons on the sleeves.

There are no lower pockets; they're just fake flaps. The upper chest pockets are real. The cuffs have no rivet or snap; they just have a long slit. The denim is a little flimsier than I would have liked. The sleeves were initially too long, but now that I've washed it twice, they're just about right. I bought the petite size. Overall, this works as a jacket, but it's pretty cheap feeling.

I had been tempted to buy this jacket for years. I had had a jean jacket once and wanted one again but hadn't had a very strong incentive to purchase until recently. [...]. I wanted to match a skirt. The color matched fine but was unflattering on me. I should have known better about the color- my fault. I liked the general style and I may have lived with the color and kept the jacket anyway if it hadn't been for the sleeves. I assumed the jacket would have sturdier sleeve cuffs - instead they are more similar in weight and style to a regular cotton shirt. Also, although I my torso is petite, my arms are proportionately long, and even so, these sleeves were still too long on me. I tried rolling them up, but it just didn't look right, and it would have been inconvenient and tight.

This is a VERY soft, comfortable jacket, but I found some of these reviews misleading. The colors in the catalog and on the website looked fantastic. I had to have the Mineral and Rosehip. The colors looked light and gorgeous and flattering. What I received was dreary, dark-looking colors. It makes me wonder if Chadwick's bleached the garments or Photoshopped them before popping the photos in the catalogs. There is simply no way that the colors come anywhere close to the photos. I realize that the dark colors work fine for some people, but I bought the jacket based on the bright, light colors I saw and feel like I was misled. The sizes are pretty good but run a little big. The back of the jacket is NOT fitted, it is boxy. The photos look like the jacket is totally fitted. It is not. It is very nicely fitted from the front view. Also, no way would I wear this to the office, so I found the reviews misleading. If I tried to wear these (with the exception of the white jacket, I would be told I was wearing a jean jacket and to go home and change. All that being said, this is the most comfortable jean jacket I've worn. I highly recommend it for casual wear, but definitely not for work unless you have an extremely casual office. It is inexpensive and worth buying because I think you will find yourself wearing it constantly due to the extreme comfort and basic, neat good looks. I wore mine around the house the day I received it.

I should have listened to the other reviewers who didn't like the sleeves, but I took my chances since it was such a good price. Not such a deal since now I have to pay shipping to return it. It's boxy and stiff and the sleeves have no button. Since they're too long and can't be rolled back, it makes the whole jacket look too big. (I'm 5'4" and ordered it in petite.) Also, the color was harsher than I thought it would be (I ordered the purple). A disappointment.

This is a very nice jacket, but seems to be more of fitted style, as it is a bit snug in the upper arms. I feel it is made for a trimmer figure, although I just tend to have shorter and bigger upper arms than the norm, so maybe it's just me.

I love the design of the jean jacket; it has a fitted shape which is just great for me as I have few curves and didn't want a boxy jacket. The jacket material and style are both very nice.

This is perfect for spring and fall casual wear--even cool summer nights It's comfortable,fits well, and is washable.. my only complaint is sleeve length and the fact that the sleeves don't fasten like traditional jean jackets.

The color green is not pretty at all especially with those PLAIN ugly bronzey-gold buttons (which does NOT show in the photos). I have this in the pinkish color and it's beautiful.
