I was extremely disappointed in this product. I wore it 1 time and the door hit me on the way out of the house and 3 buttons cracked right off! They were not fixable. I feel that this coat was a complete waste of money.

I really love this coat -- it's perfect for occasions when I want to wear a more formal coat. The black velvet lining is really stylish. It's particularly unusual to find a long coat that comes in petite sizes and hits the right length. On me, it isn't form-fitting the way it is on the model in the picture, I think because it's a bit big for me (I sort of fall between sizes 6 and 8, and I went with the 8 to be safe). A 6 probably would have fit closely, but this way I can layer underneath, so it's fine. I think of myself as a grown-up Little Red Riding Hood in this coat.

I purchased two red velvet coats. One in December and it was fabulous - my mom loves it. The one I recently received was incredibly inferior. I expected the same product. But was shocked when this one arrived with a lighter, looser wool fabric and garbage, nylon velvet on the sleeves and cuffs. Comparing the two coats you would never believe they came from the same company. The coat was out of stock for a time and you must have cut costs and had a new batch made with way inferior materials to the one I received in December for my mother. I have sent the second coat back. If it was made with the same materials and in the same manner as the one I received originally, I would not have returned it.

The back slit will not stay right. w/o drycleaning (pressing everytime. Looks bad back ther.

This is a lovely coat. I am not sure I would make it my everyday coat in a very cold climate but it surely has been my every day coat since I received it.

My only complaint is that I have already had to sew on buttons as two became loose almost immediately.

I love the dressy look of this coat. I also love the way it is fitted close to the body WHILE allowing for a blazer or bulky sweater underneath. Not easily achieved in coat making so plaudits all around.

I love this coat!

I love a-line and I love this coat. I ordered the coat in a size smaller than I wear in clothing and it seemed alittle big on me. Maybe just leaving room for bulky warm sweaters, but still alittle roomy. Looks great. Feels great. Perfect speacial occasion coat.
