I have been looking for a nice pair of cords and thought I found a winner. They looked great but they hit me right at the biggest part of my stomach(which isn't that big)making a roll appear and feeling uncomfortable. In the end I had to return them.

These do run a little small in the petite size, plus they are longer than most petites, which surprised me. At 5'3" I often cannot wear petite pants, as they run too short for me, but these were supposed to have a 30" inseam, so I got the pette. They turned out to be too long, so I will have to hem them up. Also, they seem to be made for a different shape from mine, which is admittedly kind of weird, since I have slim hips and thighs. So these fit at the waist on me, and on the upper hip, but then are pretty wide the rest of the way down. So I'm treating them like wide-leg pants, and maybe that's how they were designed. The color (I got dijon) and fabric are great, and the corduroy is not too heavy for our mild Texas winters. They'll be fun with boots at football games!

These are really nice, comfortable pants in pretty colors. I am happy they come in petite lengths. 30 is too long for some of us, but 29 I take, and others need a 28 or so. Very nice pants. The colors are rich, although the dark ones tend to fade over time, as with most dark colors. I bought the matching jacket to the brown and the jeans are now a bit lighter since I have laundered them more often.

The spandex is wonderful--just enough so I can wear the pants on my "fat days," but not so much that the waistliine gets too loose as the day goes on.

I wear these cords in several colors during three seasons: dressed up with a jacket for shopping, with a sweater for family gatherings. I'll probably buy more of these.

Loved these pants especially since they aren't black, navy, gray or brown. My only concern is that they may be slightly long and I must wear heels with them but that's why they're great for the casual business office. I was quite pleased with these cords. I was a little concerned that the "curvy fit" might not be good for me since I thought it might be more for the hourglass-curvy or pear-shaped figure, but they fit me just fine even though I'm not all that curvy. There's stretch in the fabric, so they feel good. The style is a basic jean-style pant, so they're great for casual but I wouldn't wear them to work, even on casual Friday. A little too "jeans" looking for that. I liked the longer hem length. The inseam was advertised as 30" which is on the longer side for petites, but I was seeking just this inseam b/c I like to wear them with shoes that have a bit of a heel sometimes. These are great. Someone commented that the fabric was "too thin to be corduroy" but I have to disagree. Corduroy comes in many weights and this is a medium-to-light weight. Not as fine as baby cord, not as heavy as some regular cords. But I thought the fabric was a nice, soft, comfy weight and I was pleased. I usually wear a petite 10-12 in pants. I got the 12P in these and they fit. So as far as running true to sized, I have to say they do run true. But if you're like me, sometimes hovering between sizes depending on brand and style, I'd go with the larger of the two. I would purchase these again.

I returned the pants because I took off a pair of size 14 petite cords to try on the ones from Chadwick's. They came about four inches from closing in the front. They were a long way from being a standard 14 petite. Don't ask for an opinion if you don't want the truth.

I bought two pairs of these cords--exact same size (8P), same order--just different colors. One pair fit perfectly, and I am quite pleased with them. But the other pair was at least two sizes too large, even though the tag in both pants read the same size. Since customer service could not tell me why this happened, I ended up returning the 2nd pair, even though I really wanted both colors.

the measurements listed are slowly not matching the actual fit. Previous purchases were a perfect 4. Newer purchases are getting bigger in the waist,hips and thighs. Very good looking cords. They are a bit long for "petite". I bought a 2p and with a 3" boot heel they fit fine, but I would have preferred to be able to wear them with a lower heel. Very good fit, though, attractive looking and the loden is a beautiful color.

I previously posted a comment about these cords. I had bought several colors in the past and was very pleased. This season I bought the Dijon color and felt they weren't long enough (I'm 5'2" and wear 2P). For some reason the Dijon were shorter than others I bought. I recently ordered and received another pair in the Teal color. I am very pleased, these are definately longer in the length. It looks like sometimes the same items in the same size are just not made the same. Overall I am very pleased with these cords!

The cord fabric is so soft and comfortable. I loved them the first time I put them on. The color is a deep forest green - very rich looking. The only thing I'd change is that they're bell-bottoms and pretty wide at that. But they look good with boots. Oh one more thing - I'm barely 5' 2" and the length is perfect. It's great to get petite pants that fit. They're keepers for sure.

Better than I expected. I am petite, and never find anything to fit well. These are just a "tad" long, but I can wear shoes with a little more heal and they will look perfect. The cords are very soft as well.

I had purchased several pairs of these corduroy jeans last year and was very happy with them - perfect fit - waist and length. I ordered another pair as I just loved the new dijon color. Although the waist was a perfect fit, the length of these cords is too short. I wear a 2P and I am 5'2". I have read other reviews with statements about the length being too long. These weren't the right fit for me. A little disappointing because my previous pair of cords from Chadwick's, 6P is the perfect fit. I love the color, hopefully a wash or two or visit to the tailor will do the trick.

I really like these pants. It is always a gamble buying online when you can't try something on first, but these cords fit very well. I did have to hem them, but I am petite and I usually have to hem everything. I would recommend these to anyone who wants some comfortable yet nice-looking cords.

I liked the style, but they were too long for petites. I washed them once, thinking they might shrink a bit and I ended up with a large hole down the outside seam. I sent them back. Bummer - they were a cute style, but poor quality and a little too long for petites.

The thing I like about these pants is that I have a hard time finding a size 2 in anything. The waist is always the hardest to fit on me. I would prefer a higher waist on the pants, as the ones that ride lower than the natural waist tend to "pooch out." The thighs are a little tight, but because of the stretchy fabric, it's not uncomfortable.

I ordred petites but was disappointed at how long the pants were. I struggled with them all day. Stepping on the hem. I thought with big shoes they would be o.k. The waist line was a little tight but the legs were wide. I liked the material & the color.

The fabric is soft and supple; the fit is, for the most part, true to size. However, the rise on these cords is considerably lower than the product description, and therefore not very comfortable. I am a size 2 petite and find it difficult to find pants that fit well. I was pleasantly surprised when the 5-pocket cord pants fit very well - no sagging, no bagging. The only problem is that the pants have a 30" inseam. Size 2 petites are usually a 29" inseam.

These are great cords with a soft feel - not a rough textured fabric like so many of the less expensive brands. The fit is practically perfect except a bit longer than I expected for a petite size, likely owing to the higher heel fashions in vogue for the younger set. I'm 51 - old enough to know better than to wear 4-inch heels, but young enough to still wear stylish cords that feel great on the body!

Well, I just ordered three more in other colors! I had to shorten them about an inch, but otherwise they were perfect--very comfortable, just the right amount of stretch, but not sloppy-looking. I wore them on a flight to LA from Chicago, and ended up also wearing them in LA because they stayed nicer-looking than my other jeans.

I love cords; warmer in cool weather; can be dressed up or dressed down. Option of many colors is great! The only thing bad for me is petite length is still too long. A 28-29" length would be good for us "petite" in stature people.

I was very surprised when these cord jeans arrived. The amount of spandex is perfect for me, I am petite and about 62" tall. I love the 30" inseam for petites, waist fits very nicely, as these are curvy fit cords. I want 2 more pair. I wear them to work and they are very comfortable. Lovely surprise.
