However, it looks great on my daughter!! LOL!

The description is inaccurate. The waist sits below, not above the natural waistline. The rise is short like a hip hugger, not long as stated. I could tell immediately by the length of the zipper. Consequently the length is too long. I ordered several pairs and each fit differently. Getting my package ready to return

The pants were too short from the waist to the crotch area and it fit too tight around the hips. It also had too much material bunched around the front with the pleats. The results are not flattering around the hips and and stomach area. It makes my flat stomach look bloated all the time with the excess material.

I orded a size larger and the legs were too long (they covered my feet WITH 3 inch heals) and the waist was still too tight. I knew the pants would be a little long since I purchased another brand a size larger to get more room in the hips, but those pants weren't quite as long in the legs for a petite size as these were. Also there was too much material in stomach area that gave you a "smile" effect and made you appear bloated. Also, the waist sat lower than advertised and even though I ordered a size larger in the Petite size, it was STILL too tight in the hips. I was very disappointed but at least I can have to have a seamstress use the extra material from the legs to let out the hips a little. I have had better experiences with the other brands of pants and maybe should just purchase those instead.

I bought 3 pairs of these pants and they are not as presented. They are basically hip huggers with a 3 inch zipper. They are cut tighter across the hips so the pleats bulge out, and are too big around the waist, so the crotch sags. I did like the length because I wear heels with my slacks. Would not recommend, would not repurchase, all packaged ready to return to Chadwicks.

GOOD: color (hunter green); finishing on the inside & fasteners; waist fits well. Great price.
NOT SO GOOD: slightly tight around hip/thigh; pockets too small; and length (inseam) too long for a petite size. Fabric has a slightly rough/stiff feel.
SUMMARY: Because of the price, I don't mind getting the hems altered to fit. If pants cost more I'd be more frustrated with this & would probably send them back. Would love to see similar item in a blend with more rayon or tencel, for softness.

I like these trousers and have found them quite comfortable. They are dressy looking but lightweight so are good for summer and warmer winter days. I did have to shorten them even though they were petites -- I am 5'3". One of the buttons fell off right away but that was an easy fix. Outside of that, all was well.

I was very excited to see these pants come in a 16P so ordered in multiple colors. When I tried them on, the patterns were cut VERY different from the solids. All were WAY too long and more like a standard length and all were also very tight in the hips. The were almost the equivalent of a size 12P in other brands. I was very disappointed.

I was very disappointed in these slacks. They were advertised as "traditional" fit to sit above the natural waist. When I tried them on they barely came to my natural waist let alone sat above it. When I measured the rise against a pair of pants that I already have with a higher rise and that fit above the natural waist there was quite a visible difference.
