I have a midriff and stomach area that is not real big but not small and I'm short. The fit of the jeans were great but a little too long. After hemming them they turned out just like I wanted.

Being a petite person, I had to measure up the length of the jean. I hemmed it on the sewing machine and it looks very professional. About 1 1/2 inches too long. I'm retired and I use this product for casual wear. The jeans look good on me. I chose white for the color which was not a good color to pick but for summertime it's good. I haven't wash them yet but I'm sure they will wash great. Stains in white jeans might be a problem, time will tell.

Petite still too long. Price great.

I bought 4P and 6P because I was unsure which size would fit. The 4P are true to size and the right length. The 6P were bigger than one size difference, and the inseam was 30" rather than the 29" stated in the ad.

These are nice-fitting jeans, but I had to take them to a tailor to replace the button rivet almost as soon as I got them. At a cost of [$] that was cheaper than paying [...] which I had already done once due to size - they run a little big.

It took quite a while to be able to unbotton these jeans. Legs were too flared for my liking. Though petite in size, the length was too long, and I'm 5'3". Probably good with high heeled shoes (which I can't wear).

I bought 3 pairs (size 2P) - black, med. stone, and dark indigo. All of them fit differently; the black was perfect for me - the other two had shorter rises (and shorter zippers) hitting a couple of inches below the waist - the dark indigo is tighter and the med. stone was way too big in the waist - I had to take them in about 2 inches in the waist. Still, they were a good deal. I like the fabric - doesn't stretch out very much but is soft/flexible. I just wish they all fit like the same.

I ordered a size 12P, I don't think the jeans were marked right. I always wear size 12 and they fit perfectly, but these were more like a size 4P the waist was at least 4" smaller. So I returned them and ordered a size 12R, still waiting for the order.

These jeans fit great when you first put them on. But after you wear them for a while they stretch out of shape. I tried a smaller size but they were too tight. However, they don't stretch out as bad as jeans with spandex. They do fit at the waist which is hard to find. I'm very picky and I like these jeans as well as any that I have purchased in a long time.

I appreciate the extra length on your petites, 29", not the usual 28". I also like the style. The first pair I ordered fit great, but had one very crooked leg. It was replaced with the same item, but the second pair was some smaller and definitely darker than the first pair although the same color number and size were ordered.

It is always so hard for me to buy clothes that actually fit me. Usually when I buy petite for the length they are usually small in the waist too but not these they fit perfectly. When purchasing petite jeans or pants of any kind , the manufacturer assumes that just because a woman has shorter legs that the rise needs to be shorter as well . NOT so in most cases. I have five "petite" sisters we all have short inseams however, we all have normal rises. Rather than having pants that are just petite wouldn't it make more sense to just have different lenghts ?

There is no question about the quality of the jeans. The problem is the waist -- it gaps way too much in the back. Even with a belt, there is still a gap so that it doesn't fit comfortably around the waist and gives an unflattering and unattractive silhouette.

It's a good jean for someone who has a rectangular shape -- same throughout the bust, waist and hips. If you have a more curvy, hourglass figure, these jeans are not for you.

Jeans seemed nice quality. Sizing different than the normal. Sizing differs by color. Ordered two pair same style and size; one could be worn the other two sizes too small! One of the downfalls of catalogue ordering. Until you have a handle on how sizing runs it's difficult to get the size right to begin with and even harder if the sizes vary by color. Not sure I would order again.

I have bought 6 pairs of these jeans in my size 2P and none of them fit the same. The stone jeans are long and baggy, the light denim are shorter, the darker denim fit almost the same as the light ones, I can't wear the black ones because the hips are cut wrong, the white are good, another denim pair are "not bad", and I'm getting ready to return the last pair of denim because one hip is cut much fuller than the other side. My sister and I are the same size and I ordered the white and denim for her, so I am waiting for her birthday to see how she likes them before I make the return.

I love the soft comfort and the overall flexibility of the pants. The style makes the hips look wider and older, Mommy hips, with the tighter waist. I do like the waist fit though, not too tight or too loose. The length is a little long, but I guess at 5' I expect that.
