I needed a nice suit for an upcoming work related dinner party. This suit was perfect. It was lightweight, so I don't get overheated in the Tennesee summer sun. Very dressy, classy and Jackie O-ish. I bought the buckled peep toe pumps, as seen on the model to wear with it and I LOVED the shoes as well.

The outfit was a bit more "yellow" than I thought it would be. The blazer was shorter than expected. And the skirt was definitely too tight. If it fit, it would make a great outfit for work when I don't have to be extremely formal. It is lightweight so I can even wear it in the summer when it is hot.

I am in the process of ordering a size up because of the tightness in the waist of the skirt. It is a straight skirt so maybe I'm just not used to the tightness. I do plan to keep one of the sizes however. It is a really nice suit. I can see wearing it many times through spring and summer.

The jacket was significantly larger than the skirt, almost as if it was mislabeled at the factory. The buttons were too large to go through the holes on the jacket easily and were really sort of over the top, like pillows.

It looks good on the catalog but when I tried it on, it didn't look good on me. I didn't like the collar that is always trying to raise up even when I press it down. I didn't like the texture of the material.
It may work for taller thin women, I am petite, 100 pds., and for some reason this suit makes me look even shorter and smaller.

I chose this suit in the bark and bought the buckle peep-toe shoes that were shown with it in the magazine. It makes such a nice work outfit, but it is stylish enough to wear out afterward. The neckline is perfect for a great necklace and the buttons on the jacket are understated, but also make a nice accent. The jacket is a little big, but I feel that makes the suit even more versatile, allowing me to wear a shirt under it to take the outfit into fall or wear it earlier in the spring. I think this was an excellent addition to my work wardrobe, and at the sale price, it was a steal!

This outfit says machine washable, but DON'T DO IT!!!! Not even in delicate like it instructs!! The skirt will shrink, but the lining does not, leaving you with the "your slip showing" look. Also the button tops on the jacket will come off in the dryer, in spite of drying on a lower temperature. You will get to glue them back on or replace the buttons altogether. This outfit is sooooo going back. Huge disappointment.
