This is not a heavy, heavy weave- but breathes as well as a lighter weight cotton material. Also it does have substantial mass and holds some warmth in the body without being at all tight or critically form-fitting as some styles are right now.

After wearing the white to work, I bought 2 other colors. This and the romantic smock tops to wear as work layering jackets are the best items I have purchased this year from the 2 online vendors and 1 other retailer I most frequently use for work/career clothing.

I have worn the sweaters to work and each time I have gotten loads of compliments. I bought the sweater in white, black and aqua. All of the colors that I bought are very nice. I got this sweather while it was on sale in Spring, so I didn't have a chance to wear it in cold weather. I only wore it once so far. I guess that I might need to have another layer under it because of its babydoll style, otherwise the cold wind would sneak in from bottom. I like the style and color so much!

This sweater is very comfortable, it hides my tummy, and fits well. The material is substantial and the blue color is saturated but not too bright. I am very pleased with it.

As others have said, the hem does tend to roll up after washing, but I take my cotton sweaters out of the dryer while still a little damp and worked the hem back down with my fingers, and that seemed to work pretty well. That's the only reason I didn't give it five stars.

I ordered a petite medium (which is usually my size), but it was too large, so I had to send it back for a petite small. The length of the sweater seems shorter than depicted in the picture. It is cute and comfortable to wear but after I washed it, the seam that runs along the bottom edge of the sweater keeps folding up which is rather irritating. I tried ironing it out, but it only works for a while.

I bought the sweater in black in size Medium. I was worried it would fit snug after reading some reviews that sweaters tend to run small, but I love this one. It fits just right, loose enough to be comfy, fitted enough in the ribbed parts to be stylish. The black one would go well with jeans, a casual skirt, or work clothes, so it's pretty versatile. I'd love to get another now, like the purple one.

I've tried other "baby doll" styles and they make me look pregnant. This shirt is fitted perfectly. It looks stylish and yet hides my less than perfect mid section.

Although the color and feel of the fabric are excellent the sweater itself stretches out quite fast (after wearing only a few hours) and if you sit down a lot in the sweater the hem will fold over and then be impossible to keep straight unless you iron it. Over all it is slightly over priced for the quality but the color and modern styling make up for that for the most part. I will not buy another but would have been more happy with it if the price was $10 cheaper.

This sweater was cute and comfortable. I liked the style of it and in fact bought two of them! I can also wear a turtleneck underneath it as the material is thin.
I did wash one of them in the delicate cycle and then dried it on a low setting. I found it to be easily wrinkled and may need a light pressing with the iron.

I liked this sweater, but you have to have really skinny arms to pull off this look. The upper arms are very narrow and the fabric is ribbed, so if you are like most normal people, and your upper arms are considerably larger than your forearms, this will not be your most flattering look.

I was so looking forward to getting this sweater and am disappointed. The colors are fabulous. But the sweater is too short in length and the fit is boxy. It makes you look a size larger than you are. If they added about 2 inches to the length and made it more shapely in the sides, it would be so cute. I will keep it to wear on the weekends because the price/value, but not to the office as was my original intention.
