This is a linen jacket and would breath except they lined it in acetate. Why do they do that instead of lining it in a thin cotton material? I am planning on cutting the lining out all together so that it is cooler.
Overall for the sale price I paid for it... it is a great casual jacket to wear over my white linen pants. I love linen... even though you have to iron after you wash it. Since wrinkles are expected with linen, this is a summer-look and more for casual or casual-office.

Here's a jacket that is truly a tall size: not just longer in length, but actually longer in the neck-to-waist length that we long-waisted tall people really appreciate. It's very comfortable and looks nice; though you have to iron it when you first receive it, and it wrinkles easily after that, after you have it dry-cleaned the first time it will not wrinkle as badly. It's great with a camisole for the warmer climates.

The white blazer is see-through (shoulder pads, seams). I expect to have un-removable stains on the cuffs by the end of the Summer (I work in an office), and will plan on this being a "disposable" blazer because I don't think it will ever come clean. You get what you pay for!

Need deeper hems on sleeves and skirt/pants hems! I'm going to have to put a grosgrain "false hem" in the sleeves of this jacket.
Petites can ALWAYS shorten, the talls usually can't lengthen more than 1/2" without adding ribbon, and even the ribbon often doesn't help enough!
Also, I'm removing the clunky sleeve buttons, and stiching up the cufffs. I didn't see those clunky buttons in the photos, so they're just spares.
The collar is also too cheap to be career wear -- no band, apparently no interfacing of any kind -- it'll look like a rag within an hour. Just a scrap of taffeta interfacing and a collar band would make it first-class career wear!!!!
Don't be so cheap!
1) This ignores the tall end OF YOUR PRESENT MARKET and 2) ALSO ignores the many women who need to wear a jacket to work that is STILL PRESENTABLE WHEN THEY GET TO THEIR WORKPLACE!!

This blazer is very nice, although the photo online shows the blue I ordered with a large white check pattern on it. Mine was solid aqua blue. That was disappointing but I decided to keep it because it fits very well and works well in summer. I am 5'11" and the tall sizing fits wonderfully.

I now have 5 of thesse jackets and I'm always complimented on my appearance. I wear them all the time, for work, out to dinner and to dress up a pair of jeans. They are linen so they do wrinkle but if that doesn't bother you this is a very, easy to wear, comfortable jacket. I have also twisted it top to bottom before putting it on for a different purposely wrinkled look. The lining of the jacket is matching and nice enough for roll up sleeves. I am 6' tall so I get the tall sizes which fit well. I wear size 12 or 14 in jackets. For comfort and shoulder width I purchased size 14 in these jackets.

I was so excited that these blazers came in talls that I ordered 3 of them. They fit great but were so wrinkled when they arrived that I could not get them pressed. I had them dry cleaned and they don't look much better. They're not wearable.
