I have purchased these pants before and wanted more colors. I ordered two pairs, black and taupe. the taupe pair fits fine, but the black pair is too tight. I ordered the same size for both. Quality control is needed on construction of the pants. My other colors are gray and white and they fit very nicely. I am going to return the black pair and I am disappointed. I am afraid to order another pair because of the sizing.

I've owned LOTS of these pants in LOTS of colors because they are extremely comfortable and flattering. The biggest problem is that the sizing is very inconsistent. A Size 8 varies between a 6 and 10, the tall length varies from 32" to 36". The fabric, thankfully, is always nice and holds up well. I hope you continue to sell these pants because I'd be lost without them.
They're a basic piece in my wardrobe in black, navy, gray, khaki and white.

I like these pants because they don't have a waist band which means they don't look bulky under tops that you don't want to tuck. They may not be the best choice for tops you would want tucked. The pants are just a bit stretchy making them fit better, but they don't continue stretching until they feel too large like some stretchy jeans I've owned. I also like them because they're available in tall sizes.

I just had to write a review after these pants saw me through three days of traveling without my luggage, which had gone ahead without me when my flight was bumped. I didn't have to sleep in them, but I wore them while sitting and lying on airport floors, getting on/off planes and trains, and even sliding along on my rear when I was too tired to stand up every time the line moved ahead 2 feet. The drapey fabric was comfortable but didn't lose its shape. No pilling, no excessive wrinkles, and they came out of the wash good as new. The hook on the hook and eye closure will need reinforcing, but that's all.
As for the fit, I like the side zip which seems to help the pants contour around my waist, without the huge gap in the back of the waist that I often find. Pockets would have come in handy, but the line is cleaner without them. The pants seem true to size. I've gained some weight recently and the 12's were too tight; the 14's are just slightly big and a tad long (I ordered the tall), which is better than the alternative. I'm ordering another pair in black.
For a good buy and a versatile, durable product, you can't go wrong with these.

In these pants I find it necessary to size up. I had looked many places before I found these. I did order the tall length but they are about an inch too long so I will have them hemmed. It will cost extra but consider how many places I tried to find white pants that were not dry clean only or were not too sheer, I think I made a good purchase.

I am a tall woman at 5'11 before I put on my heels!! :) No matter what style I choose, Chadwicks pants are the bomb! These pants, are ones that I own nearly every color. Chadwicks is the ONLY place I will buy my pants, because they fit and look like they were made just for me. I don't understand the complaints I read about the zipper, as this is shocking to me. The zipper has been strong enough to last the years for me---washing after washing. (perhaps someone isn't ordering the right size, and putting too much pressure on this area!??) I travel a great deal, and I'm noted as being the best dressed at conferences and asked where I have my pantsuits made, because they always fit so beautiful. I always smile and tell them that I have this "special" place where I shop, as they are the only place who's styles fit me like a glove. Thank you Chadwicks for allowing me to be the best dressed woman at functions. My biggest complaint is that the description said that "light colored are fully lined" and I bought a very light heather grey as well as a light tan and NEITHER was lined. If all that is fully lined is white, that is what the description should have said! Not happy at all about that. Otherwise, they are nice slacks.

I am very pleased with the purchase I made.I have these slacks in several differnt colors that I have purchased over the last three years,however I think there is more work to be done on the waist line,it tends to roll down when you are seated.

I wanted to be able to wear these pants as I clerked in a gallery. However, they wrinkle easily and the zipper tab came off. They are cut nicely, fit nicely, and are nicely woven, but they do not stand up to the actual wearing of them.
