This are nice pants, but I was really looking for something without a waist band. You used to carry a nice selection of waist-band free. Could not locate them this time around in this fabric. Also, the pleating in the front does not look good when you sit. It puckers a lot in the front.

I wash all my slacks in cold watr and line dry them to keep the colors true and lengthen the life of the fabrics. Some of my Chadwicks slacks do not even require ironing after this type of care if I hang them right to dry.

These slacks are near perfect....the one exception is they need to be made with a 32" inseam. I have to buy the tall size and have them hemmed. The 31" inseam is too short for 5'7" frame.

I was a bit skeptical about the pleat, and it ballooning out and making me look chubby, but I wanted something different than the side zip, pocketless pants that I have been wearing for years. The pleat doesn't puff out, and I LOVE having the pockets! The waist seemed a little snug, but I think it's because I normally wear clothing lower on my waist or stomach and these come up higher. The price is great, and I don't have to take them to the dry cleaner! And, if you take them right out of the dryer when they're immediately done to hang them, NO IRONING! They come in a number of different colors and I intend to order a few more!

Have been ordering tall slacks from Chadwicks for years (mostly this brand), as I am tall and the length and variety of colors has been good. However, the last order, seems they changed the design of the waist, in lieu of button, now has a clasp...waist is too large and fit is not as it used to be. The slacks do not hold up really well, after numerous washing, look worn and baggy very soon. All in all, for the money and color options for talls, you get what you pay for and knowing the slacks will be long enough is a plus.

I am 5' 9" with one of those hard to fit figures. These pants are long enough to wear with heels which is always a problem for me. They fit in the waist and the hips. My problem is usually if they fit in the hip they are too big in the waist. A definite good buy for me. I will be ordering more soon since they come in so many color choices.

The majority of pants I've seen sit below the waist. I like the traditional fit so when you bend, your underwear doesn't show. These pants are great for office wear. The material could be a little better, but when you're 6'0 and budget conscious, this is a great buy.

Because I stand at 5?7? tall, am long torsoed, short seated with a 33? inseam and wear a size 6, it is very hard for me to buy pants that fit from department stores. Even though there are a few issues with fit and waist, I actually rate these pants with 4.5 stars. I ordered one pair to test the fit and they are slightly big in the waist and hips (but very few women are proportioned in those areas) and with a few nips and tucks they fit perfectly. I've since ordered 4 more pair. I commend Chadwick's for having tall sizes for the smaller woman that are reasonably priced[...].
