I have purchased the slimming side-zip pants before and have been very happy with them; however, it seems the materials may have changed. The pants I used to purchase came out of the dryer wrinkle-free -- not so with these! Also, the material seems a bit thinner and cheaper to me, and the pants felt a little on the skinny side. I'd think twice before purchasing these again.

I was bowled over by my first pair (a solid taupe) and wrote a review to say so. I bought a second pair in stripe and the material isn't as soft and comfy. They still fit me better in the waist than almost any other pants I've found that aren't elastic (I'm smaller through the waist and bigger through the hips) and they seem durable enough. If these wear well, I'll be back for more. I may try a regular instead of a tall - these are really long.

I wear these to work. I don't like lined pants, so I wear them three seasons. They fall nicely, make me look slimmer and at almost 5'10, the talls are just long enough. The waist is too high for me to tuck in a shirt, and sometimes the zippers wear out before the pants do, but every season I buy a few "replacement" pairs.

I bought four pair of this style of pant, and on ALL FOUR pair, the zippers failed during the try-on stage. The fit of these pants is too good to be true, so my option was to take them to a tailor to have the invisible zipper replaced -- to the tune of [$] per pair. I realize that I will never have satisfaction from Chadwick's because of this choice, but I needed the slacks and with four of four failing, felt that replacements would just be a waste of time. One would think that a company like Chadwick's would supply clothing that had quality notions sewn in.

I have bought four pairs of these pants and for each one I have had to take them to a tailor and have the zippers replaced. The pants are definitely not too tight. The zipper doesn't even work properly when you first take them out of the package and have never put them on.
Once the new zipper is put in, I love them! I would never pay full price for them since it costs me nearly $10 to replace each of the zippers.

It is very difficult to find pants to fit when you are really tall. Most cuts only extend the length of the leg and the crotch is the same for average. This is incredibly uncomfortable. I am very pleased with the cut of these pants and have ordered several in the different sizes/patterns.
