I am small but curvy and this dress was unflattering. It has inverted pleats at the empire waist and gave me extra pounds on the bottom half. Very versatile, adorable dress, just not for my figure.

Nice looking dress. Sholder straps perfect size. Hower elastic in waist made the dress bulge in ALL THE WRONG PLACES.... Making your bottom half look extra large. However, if you can get away with a size smaller than your usual size, then order it. It will stretch the elastic more taking away some of the "bulge" effect.

I purchased for the promotion of by one get one free. I needed clothes for vacation. The material is nice, feels cool when wearing. I like the dress, I'm glad I purchased. The only thing I don't like is that I have to pull dress down from the waist, as the elastic rides-up after sitting down.

I recently used the dress on a luau day at the job and took it travelling on a weekend getaway.It's great with low heeled gold or silver strappy sandals to dress up on a casual dinner outing.I added a tank top to cover the low V-neck.A different color tank can be used with each wear.[...]

This is a very pretty dress. However, it is not the proper design for a size 24 plus-sized person such as myself. The waist was too high; the surplice front didn't flatter my bust. I felt and looked frumpy in this design.
It truly is a design for someone with less generous proportions...

Being tall, 5'10", it is often hard to find maxi dresses that are truly maxi. This dress is generous in the length. It has a flattering fit and striking bright colors for the summer. The jewels at the empire waist give the dress a special touch. I especially like the wider straps that hide bra straps. It's not cut too low or skimpy so you can wear it to work or for going out. The fabric is cool and comfortable. I have received many compliments on the dress and how slenderizing the cut is.

I have not yet worn this dress, but it is beautiful and actually looks exactly like the photo. I've purchased some items and when I received them they just didn't look as good or quite the same; I assume because I'm on the larger side and the models are only a size 12 or 14. But this is perfect for me. I'm 5'10" and have a difficult time finding dresses that are long enough for me. They may look long in the photos and say the length is long (and look like the length in the photo above) and when I get them I'm lucky if they hit past the knee! Not this one, it is actually the same length on me as shown in the photo!! Yay!

This is a great weekend dress. I wore it shopping this past weekend and several people stopped me and told me how great the dress was. It is perfect with hooped earings, bangle braclets and flat sandals (I wore red). I give this dress an A+ as it is comfortable and stylish. You do have to wear a slip with it as it is a little shear even though it is lined. Wonderful value for the cost!

What's not so great about the dress is the placement of the amber-colored faux gemstones I would have preferred them not to be there and used a wider belt. I intend to remove the stones and do a 3" wrap around faux leather belt with the dress
