I am a petite 18W and this dress fits me almost perfectly. I am a bit short waisted and will need to take a couple of tucks in the sleeves, but other wise it fits perfectly, not too long with heels and the waist is comfortable. Plus it is a classic elegant design. As mother of the bride, I think I will look great in it!

It's a beautiful dress that I had seen in the catalog for quite some time & planned to wear as my wedding gown. (That was before I was even engaged or had a man!) However, I found another dress in a more recent catalog that I absolutely fell in love with. I ordered both dresses to try. I ordered this lace gown in two sizes in order to be sure to get a proper fit. The women's size didn't fit me right at all, but the misses size looked quite lovely. I didn't have any problem with the sleeves as I've read in some reviews, & my arms are not small by any means. Anyway, it was a hard decision, because both styles fit well & looked good. However, I ended up choosing another dress for my wedding.

I bought it to wear to the Marine Corps Ball. [...] I wish I had ordered a size bigger, it was to tight in the chest area. It was beautiful (black) I sent it back because it was to small. Next time I may order 2 sized and send the one back that I can't wear.

I am over 50 getting married for the first time - on a shoe-string budget. This dress looked perfect for me in the catalog, but when it came I was amazed at how pretty it really was. I can't wait to wear it on my wedding day - one and a half weeks away!

I was afraid after reading previous comments that the gown would be too small but it was slightly too big--perfect for my comfort level. Everyone at my wedding loved it, including me!!

I wore this as my wedding gown. I love it! I was very comfortable and felt very elegant. It was a bit to big thoough, even though I ordered the size stated on the size chart according to my measurments.

As an older first-time bride, I didn't want a frou-frou gown. This was perfect in every way! I bought 1 size larger since I was afraid my regular size would be too small, so it did need alterations in the bust. The length was perfect, even though I'm 5'4". The fabric breathed well, even for an Arizona late June wedding. I bought the ivory color, then got a killer deal on the matching pumps. Thanks, Chadwicks!

I purchased this dress to wear for my second wedding. Despite reading the other reviews, I ordered the dress a size larger and needless to say,it is true to size and the second dress fits perfectly! I really like it because I am busty and can wear a regular bra with the straps taped to the inside of the sleeves with this dress and did not have to buy a special bra. It feels and looks wonderful, I cannot wait for my hubby to be to see me in it!

In the photo the dress was WHITE, when the dress arrived it was more of a cream color! I don't have time to send it back so it will have to do, but I was NOT satisfied.

I ordered this dress for a wedding. I ordered 2 sizes bigger than my size and the bust area did not fit. I went according to the size chart and I was so disappointed. I sent it back.

The dress design is excellent..however, the quality is poor. I was rather disappointed at the poor quality of the dress which explained the low price for such a pretty gown. I bought if for my niece as a wedding dress. I returned it after receipt due to the poor quality of the material.

I purchased this dress for a black tie event and it was perfect! I was a bit hesitant purchasing online. I would suggest if you want a more fittted look, order a size smaller. I altered mine to achieve this look. I chose to wear the sleeves off the shoulder and they were not tight at all. For the price, you can't beat it. Im a 6 foot tall plus size girl and this dress was very flattering.

After reading lots of reviews I decided to buy this for my wedding dress. I bought a size larger and it has a very flattering fit, although I do have to have it altered. I would recommend going with your normal size. The neckline was way too wide and the lace does not lay flat at the neckline. I am only 5'2" and it only needs to be shortened a couple inches. Very flattering look, elegant.

I wore this dress for my marriage validation ceremony and it was absolutely perfect. The ivory color was just the right shade I was hoping for. My husband never saw it before the ceremony so the look on his face was priceless. My family and friends said the dress looked beautiful on me. The size was a true 22W. I'm so happy I chose this dress. Strongly recommend it for any special occasion.

This dress was exactly what I needed for a black tie gala. I ordered it in black, and it arrived right on time. I read the other reviews and ordered it a size smaller than I normally would and it fit perfectly. It was very flattering and I am a plus sized girl so sometimes that is hard to do in formal wear. I would definately recommend this dress.

I bought this a size too large, not knowing what to expect. It had to be taken in at the waist, but otherwise fit nicely. Although I'm only 5'4" this didn't need to be hemmed. It was perfect for a June wedding. I bought the matching ivory satin pumps and ended up with a beautiful, classy looking gown. My matron of honor bought the same style in periwinkle, and she looked wonderful!

Going to wear this for my wedding in April next year. Ordered two sizes and returned the one I don't need - this was suggested by a friend and worked out great! I still have to take it to a seamstress to be hemmed - but that's the norm for me in ANY long dress! It will need to be taken in at the waist a tiny bit too - but I'm waiting til closer to the wedding. I'll also see what she can do about the neckline standing out just a little. Once the seamstress is thru if it still gaps a little at the neckline I've got the two-faced tape models use to keep fabric in place and I'll just use that the day of my wedding - no big deal! I just love the design of the dress so much I'm very willing to work out the flaws that are more due to my shape than the dress design!

I wore this dress for my wedding and it was beautiful. It came in about 5-7 days and was perfect for the casual wedding we had. The off-the-shoulder style was classy and elegant, just what I wanted. I ordered a size bigger than I am because I thought it might be small but I should have ordered it in my regular size. It was comfortable and roomy but okay. I had no time to send it back. I probably will wear it again.

I plan to wear this gown to a Fall Ball. I Love the way it looks and fits. I too will have to alter the fabric accross the bust line, and I am very busty. Other than that, it was a great buy and it is a very flattering eligant gown.

I bought this dress for my second wedding. My waist and bust are the same measurement. The top of this gown is a bit tight around my bust - more than I am used to but I also got it in a 26 and I normally order a size 28. The dress zipped up on me and fits nicely around the arms. Its very flattering around the waist. Its long but I am 6'2" so it was perfect at my ankles. The ivory color is also very nice.

Planning on wearing this dress to my daughter's wedding in August, but the sleeves appeared to be too small and the dress bunched up in the middle of the dress. The top of the dress needs adjusting, the skirt was just beautiful.
I love the dress but have to send it back follow size chart but dress runs big esp. on top. Will order a smaller size

After trying on lots of unflattering dresses in local stores, I found this lovely dress, and it's just what I need for a formal night on a cruise. As some others have mentioned, there's some fabric bunching in the middle of the top of the bustline, but that's something I was able to fix myself. I did need to have the dress shortened; wish it came in women's petite sizes. It's a flattering, comfortable dress -- and my husband loves it.

I am getting married for the second time and this dress is perfect in that it isn't a traditional wedding gown. The top is flattering, although the dress is long (I'm only 5'2"); I need to have it hemmed. Otherwise, it is a beautiful dress.

This gown is true to size and looks beautiful on all shapes. The simple drape top and shape flatters all body styles. Would make a nice simple bridesmaids dress for full figured and petite sizes.

I plan to wear this on a cruise. It's a lovely, flattering dress. I just wish it had come in a women's petite size so I wouldn't have to fool with having it shortened. There's also the issue of the lace bunching in the center front of the neckline. I'm not sure what that's all about, but it looks like something I can fix myself. Anyhow, after trying on too many unflattering dresses in local stores, I was pleased to find this at such an attractive price.

I plan to use this dress for a cruise in July. The bottom fit fine but the top is too large. It is an off the shoulder dress and that may be why it feels to large at the top. I really like the dress and the color so I plan to keep it and see if I can get the top altered. If not I will have to return it.

Dress material (lace) at top above breasts was too bunched up but I like the style and flow of the garment and will see if I can get a seamstress to correct the problem. First dress was too big and I sent it back. Second fit very well except for the bunching of material at the top above breasts.
