I was dissapointed with this item because the fit around the bust and stomach were tight and not flattering. I also did not like the material. It seemed just like a cotten coat, and thats not good for spring weather. I didnt wear it in the rain but it didnt look like it would fare well. For the price I was paying I knew I could do better for my money.

I am disappointed in the fabric - it doesn't have much body, I wouldn't risk machine washing and I'm concerned that it will lose shape with not much time - so it is not the value I was expecting. The detailing is nice and if a blend fabric with some body and ability to shed water had been used it would be great - a shame since it is the same amount of work to make it from a poor fabric as from a good one and little difference in cost. I am keeping it anyway because there are very few options for those of us who wear plus sizes, particularly in classic styles.

I got the green and waited for it to be in stock. Love the color. It's a great spring/fall lightweight jacket but I thought I was ordering a rain jacket. This has no finish on it nor is the fabric of the type usually found in "trench" coats. But I kept it. With coupons etc. promotions the price couldn't be beaten and it's a nice jacket.

I ordered the coat for a lightweight topper on cool and damp/rainy days. It was on backorder for weeks, but I really wanted the coat, especially the green one. I liked the color a lot. I ordered the size I usually order from Chadwicks. Unfortunately, this was really too snug, especially through the bust, where it gapped open, and the shoulders.The belt has a lightweight plastic buckle and I felt it wouldn't hold up. So, I was so disappointed, I returned the jacket to Chadwick's on Monday.

I orignally ordered this jacket in sailor blue, but they were currently out of stock. I always love a short trench becasue of their versatility, so I decided to be bold and go with the geometric print.
Wow, did I ever get asked, "Where did you get that?" by so mnay people! People just love it, as do I, and can't beleive I ordered this from a catalog! I have worn it with a bright blue blouse underneath, or black, or khaki and am able to either dress it up, or throw it on over soemthing and still look good.

Unless I am now a size 24 ~ this coat did not fit me. I usually wear a 16 and I couldn't even get my arms in this coat. I felt that the sizing charts were hard to figure out and perhaps I just read them wrong and ordered the wrong size. I would encourage anyone who is interested in this coat to call customer service to verify sizing.

I tried on the coat and found that the fit is true to size. I havent't wore it yet because it is to cold, but I will deffently wear it come this spring.

This is a cute jacket, but like most things I have purchased from Chadwick's over the years, I found that it runs a little on the small side. Now, I usually will order a size up to compensate for this and the inevitable shrinkage (another thing I have often found with Chadwick's), but unfortunately this jacket was on sale and this was the only size left in the color I wanted so, oh well. It still fits fine and looks good on and for the price I paid, it is an overall good deal!
